98.12.28 is an album as overwhelming and challenging as it is beautiful and climactic in its scope. an over two-hour long masterwork of a live set unknowingly sending off a bands active era. and wow, it's one hell of a send off.

The title track is a crazy insane prog masterpiece, but the rest really isn't necessary. It suffers from the prog album curse of having a long song on one half then random filler tracks on the other. Still cool though

I've been diving back into Mother Mother for the past couple hours, and that has refreshed my memory of this thing.
This is an album, just an album. there's nothing special, nothing out of the ordinary. just a really cookie cutter nothing-burger modern pop-rock album. that's it.
