I like to try new things out but this feels like something any rando could cobble together using weird sound bites and random noises. Bonus, no singing talent even necessary! The monotone female vocalist, if we can be kind and call her that, is so heavily processed she doesn't even sound human any more. Maybe that's what's appealing to some people? Maybe she can actually sing but just doesn't want to here? Dunno. I know nothing about her. Going by this EP, the only other mode she has in her arsenal of vocal tricks is screaming and she comes off like the female version of the lead singer of Brokencyde; a band that most folks ridicule. But hey, lots of lil computer malfunctioning beeps, blips, boops and other cute noisies are here, I guess. There's also a recurring bit that sounds suspiciously like a dentist's drill and is every bit as appealing.
To be fair, the second song (the least obnoxious by far) almost reaches the level of mediocrity. Nothing about it is impressive or all that good, but it's tolerable and faintly pretty, I guess.
