Rimera - BUSHWA (Deluxe)
70

I didn't really like this as much as JAZZ PUNK. Only OH NO! THEY BLEW UP SUNRISE MOUNTAIN!, and ROSE BUSH CONUNDRUM really stood out to me, the rest I thought were fine but not amazing.

Rimera - TEDDY'S HEADPHONES (VOL II: REAL RIMERA HATER RADIO)
63

Eh, it was a fine EP. It was just way too short and nothing really stood out a lot. I did like the references at the end of FREAKSHOW though.

My Chemical Romance - Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge
100

Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge is a really incredible album. I've listened to it before, but I wasn't really actually listening to it. Just like in The Black Parade this has amazing storytelling which adds to the experience a lot in my opinion. The songs themselves are all bangers and Helena is a great song to start with.

Weezer - Pinkerton
92

The best Weezer album. The storytelling is amazing and you can really feel the emotion in River's voice. The guitar riffs are also great.

They Might Be Giants - Apollo 18
100

Apollo 18 may be one of the most creative albums I've heard. Fingertips is such a great idea and it's really fun to listen to with the album on shuffle. A lot of the songs are bangers and have super catchy lyrics. I also really like Spider, it's such a weird interlude but I always enjoy hearing it.

Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory
95

Hybrid Theory is a really incredible album. Chester Bennington is a really talented singer and he raps amazingly in this album. There are a lot of great transitions between songs, which I am always a huge fan of. The drums and guitar on this were also absolutely great.

My Chemical Romance - The Black Parade
95

For some reason I first listened to this album on my DSi, even then it was still incredible. The Black Parade has really amazing storytelling. The transition from The End. and Dead! was so seamless and it probably is one of my favorite openings to an album ever. The guitar riffs all sound great and the drums really punchy. The vocals are also incredible and really convey the emotion of the album well.

They Might Be Giants - Lincoln
90

Lincoln is another great album from They Might Be Giants. The lyrics for a lot of the songs are great and make for unique, catchy songs and a lot of the songs are great fun. Some of the songs just don't hit as well. They Might Be Giants' horn skills really shine in songs like Cowtown and Where Your Eyes Don't Go, and the other instruments used are also incredible.

They Might Be Giants - Flood
100

I first heard of They Might Be Giants when my uncle told me about them. A while after that I saw something about them again and decided to listen to an album of theirs. That ended up being Flood. I became a huge fan of this album. Theme from Flood is such a great intro and it's impossible to forget. I really enjoy the comical lyrics and all the upbeat instrumentals. Minimum Wage is also a very silly interlude, but it fits perfectly with the vibe of the album. Overall, this was an amazing ... read more

Oingo Boingo - Dead Man's Party
100

Such a groovy album. The instruments are great and really unique. The lyrics are fun and catchy and give the album a great theme. None of the songs are bad and each one is fun to listen to. I really enjoyed this and it was a great introduction to the rest of Oingo Boingo's albums.

My friend once recommended this album a while ago, but I didn't really properly listen to it. I realize now that I should have, cause this was amazing. The beats are incredible and the samples are great. The album has a very serene vibe to it, which I did enjoy.

They absolutely killed it with the guitar riffs on this album, combined with the lyrics it makes every song a banger. Bombtrack is also an amazing opening. This was an incredible first experience to Rage Against the Machine and it makes me interested in the rest of their discography.

Flight - I Wanna Treesh
6

These lyrics are some of the worst I have ever heard. They are so horrendous I started laughing when listening to this. The beat itself is fine, but it is just pretty much a single loop. I can't believe Flight actually decided to post this when he made it, it's that bad.

They Might Be Giants - The Communists Have The Music
83

Really fun single. The keys are great and the lyrics are just as silly as you'd expect from They Might Be Giants. The guitar on I've Been Seeing Things is also great. This is a solid single and I enjoyed listening to it.

Lemon Demon - Spirit Phone
100

Spirit Phone holds a special place in my heart. It is the first Lemon Demon album I've ever listened to and it helped me find my music taste. It starts of so perfectly with Lifetime Achievement Award and sets the spooky, eerie tone for the rest of the album. Spirit Phone sounds so well produced compared to Lemon Demon's earlier albums and it definitely sounds the best of all of them. Every single song is great and I really liked the storytelling. The transitions between songs are also ... read more

Biking With Francis - GIMMIE UP
73

The guitar riffs in this sound great and the drums are played well. I don't like the part around halfway, it's a bit unoriginal and didn't really stand out for itself compared to the other songs with similar vibes. This was a fine single, but nothing crazy.

Rimera - JAZZ PUNK
78

My friend recommended this album to me, and it didn't disappoint. I really enjoyed the harsh noises and the guitar riffs are amazing. GROUNDHOG DAY is a great intro and following it with JAZZ PUNK really set the expectations high. Not all of those were met, however. Songs like I SHAVED MY HAIR felt a bit too slow compared to the rest of the album and the lyrics were fine, but nothing special. I also thought RICHARDSON was a good outro for the album. Overall, this was a really solid album.
