I think a lot of the production and some of what NF does on here could have potentially worked, just unfortunately I only think they could have worked with a different artist.

Up until this point, I had only heard the singles for this album, and I wasn’t really impressed by them. The only one that I thought was decent was “Lost” featuring Hopsin, but my reasons for thinking that song was decent had nothing to do with NF and had everything to do with the instrumental and Hopsin’s performance. So I think it’s safe to say I wasn’t necessarily excited to listen to this, but I was intrigued and hoped that maybe the album cuts would surprise me. But unfortunately I just end up not really caring about this at all.

I’ll give this album one thing: It’s very consistent; it’s just consistently corny and uninteresting. I don’t mind the production, and he can flow well and brings solid energy, but I just find him so corny it kinda cancels everything out and I end up not caring. It’s a very similar thing to how I feel about Joyner Lucas, although I think that this is nowhere near as unlikeable as Joyner’s ADHD album was. I don’t know, I guess I see the appeal and I don’t hate it, I just find it incredibly boring and don’t have any interest in listening to it again.
