EVOL

After DS2 and WATTBA, it seemed like Future could do no wrong. This album could make him have a stretch of three straight awesome projects. While I like it, it’s not on the level of his previous 2

“Ain’t No Time” is a good song with a nice beat and Future does well on the track. “In Her Mouth” is a decent song. Not great but it’s pretty good. I really like the beat on “Maybach” and Future delivers a catchy hook. “Xanny Family” is decent. The beat is nice, I don’t really like the hook that much though. I feel the same way about “Lil Haiti Baby”, “Photo Copied” and “Seven Rings”. The production is great but Future doesn’t do much on these tracks. Everything starts to click again for me on “Lie To Me”. “Program” has another good beat but Future isn’t great on this track. “Low Life” is my favorite track in the album. The beat is phenomenal and The Weeknd does an amazing job on the song. I love the guitar beat and the hook on “Fly Shit Only”. I also love “Wicked”. The beat is amazing and Future is great on the track.

EVOL isn’t as consistent as DS2, but still has some great highlights. The production is as good as DS2 but I don’t think Future is as good as he was on that project. With that being said, this is still a decent album that has some great tracks on it.
