Not a big fan of ambience and breakcore mix, but enjoyed the listen nonetheless
Added My Confession and Dead (too) to library
All groove, no miss.
Best compilation album I've ever listened to.
BONUS POINT FOR AWESOME COVER!!
For flashcore, it gets very repetitive with sampling.
Doesn't have anything pecial in it too. Nonetheless, it was fun listen
While being very funky, tropical album, I found this lp compositions somewhat muddy, as sometimes it's hard to get instruments and vocals apart from each other.
Tropic Birds is GOATED thought.
Exceptional with narrative and emotion provoking... but that's about it.
I appreciated Bowie's usual experimentation with sound, but this LP sounds like a small, jazz/rock album with weird experimentation and some electronic elements to it.
IMHO, this album wouldn't be praised as much if not for a sad coincidence that happened with Bowie, that this was his last album.
Again, amazing narrative and storytelling, but very mediocre play.
I had higher expectations for an album with funky album cover, alas, I was wrong.
Still an enjoyable listen for its length.
Bonus point for cool cover.
As furry, I don't really get this, unless it was made as pure comedy, which doesn't seem so.
I simply can't put it lower as this album is very nostalgic and brings a lot of great memories to me and my girlfriend.
Perhaps, if not that whimsical night when we listened to this album and she opened up to me...
AHH!! Love this album!
Its truly brilliant how this sensory overload can still sound so "Ambient and Peaceful".
The layers that this ep have can somewhat blend into each other, to the point that it's somewhat hard to tell the difference between each instrumental and effect.
However, this is very strong and fun listen. The style and sound progression is quite comparable to his next work, For Liza, Beyond the Event Horizon. Perhaps, this EP may have been his testing playground. But it still stays the fact that this ep slaps.
--AW MAY GAD--
This genuinely goes HARD. Despite me being somewhat biased towards Hip-Hop mixed with Hyperpop, this LP goes very hard. All the tracks are pumped with energy, the density and chaos mix makes this LP such an outstanding work in its genre.
I'm not a big fan of hip hop, but Tyler is one of only guys that I actually enjoy, that manages to make banger after banger.
The album itself is nice, definitely has it's different approach, comparing to his previous works. Perhaps, it feels like all his post-flower boy works mashed into one with a pinch of electromusic.
Again, I'm all ears for something new and fresh. Nice addition to my library.
FAV - Big Poe, Mommanem
Least fav - Sucka Free
I didn't like it at my first listen, and I somewhat regret it.
The songs are catchy, with high energy and their own unique sound quirks.
The first two songs are somewhat of a miss, but the rest simply slaps
God damn it it's so fucking horrible, I couldn't stop giggling while listeningh to this.
Awful, awful. Plus points for giggles, ig.
Actually fun single, I just find it too blank and lazily done to the end. It really could be better and more "fully" done.
The sound and energy is too muffled. It somewhat doesn't suit R&R style.
