d'Demonstrator

I like a good deal of the songs on this album and I think it does some things smartly by following up some of the directions taken on Just A Souvenir. However I do find myself wanting more here because the sound of this album is a bit too sanitised and flat for my liking. It's unfortunate because it does kind of sour some of the tunes here - however, with that said, the album is very much lifted by having lots of great melodies and musical ideas, and this applies to a majority of tracks. It's a shame that the production doesn't manage to actually give that a lift as such.
