I mean she clearly has bills to pay after losing all those endorsement deals due to laughing at racism.
Blackest Looney Tunes soundtrack I've ever heard and I am forever grateful for how many bangers are on this.
(we just pretend that I Believe I Can Fly is sung by someone else)
The intro to this album is laughably bad. Like, so bad that I can't believe he thought it was a good idea to release. But after that, the rest feels like a bunch of nothing, with the exception of one song, that was on track to becoming one of his best-sounding songs in years until it was ruined by a fuckass beat switch.
Iceman was unremarkable, but Habibti just feels empty and boring.
After two years of trying to show everyone that he's not owned, Drake returns with a largely unremarkable album that mostly consists of the same material, flows, and beat selection that he's been doing for the past decade. From a production aspect, it sounds decent, but at the end of the day, it just feels like I'm listening to someone refusing to move on and evolve. Future's feature did some heavy carrying.
Not to be a "you guys hate fun" mf or anything, but 'It's Me' is one of the best K-Pop releases of the year. 🤷🏾♂️
These niggas haven't sounded THIS pissed off since 'Thoughts and Prayers' (complimentary)
Imagine telling me 10 years ago that both Kanye and North will drop projects in the same year, and the latter's would end up being the most cohesive.
It's not good, but I would be lying to you if I haven't caught myself singing "TROUBLE TROUBLEEEEE" in my head from time to time, so I guess the song still accomplished what it needed to do.
I think there's still a charm in that she clearly gave an effort, and I'll take bad art over AI crap anytime.
I'm gobsmacked that Lana was never brought in for any Bond themes beforehand, because what do you MEAN this is just for a video game and it's already one of the best themes of the whole franchise?
I was fully prepared to hate, not gonna lie. 💀 So I was pleasantly surprised that this wasn't ass. Though, I've heard the theories that this guy is allegedly Glorb, and if that's true, it's very funny that he writes better songs for cartoon character parodies than his own self.
Groovy as hell. Becomes a bit repetitive in the second half, but still groovy as hell.
Mark this down under my "never heard of them before, but they making bangers" folder.
For an artist in this genre to release an album so honest and vulnerable after enduring everything within the industry and the country for the past decade, while also creating genuinely good music, I'm not even saying with bias as a K-Pop fan, this album is a triumph.
