I really do not understand why many think this is overrated. Yes, it is very long, and probably should not be that length, but most tracks are great and lyrically serve a purpose.

This is a decent outing from Passenger. The instrumentation is pleasant and there are some good melodies. However, like many Passenger albums, the songwriting below average. “London in the Spring,” the album’s final track, is a perfect example. He sprinkles in a political message of a society without monarchs or beggars, which fails horribly, because his songwriting is not good enough to tackle such a large topic.

An astounding performance of a less than astounding piece.
