While not my favourite Mitski album, Laurel Hell definitely has some of my favourite tracks of hers. Mitski always finds a way to hit me right in the soul even with her tracks that I don't necessarily love.
Overall, I think I was just disappointed by this album. Glass Animals has built themselves up a very big reputation to flop this hard.
Better and worse than their first album, fun and more energetic while still retaining some of their original style.
This album is good and chill but a lot of the songs are very samey, I don't reach for individual songs often but instead the whole piece.
This album is a whole lot of fun! There are quite a few songs here that are really fun bops and enjoyable to listen to but theres some other songs that are just mid. Nothing here is bad! High highs and mid lows.
