Very cool album! After listening to the BBNO$ album, this really reaffirmed my stance that an album should be more than a compilation... I loved that it had an intro, outro, and reoccurring themes and sounds, while still having each song be distinct and interesting. I also think it's cool that this one was a bit more edgy than Chromakopia and Igor.
I'd be lying if I said this was a good album, or that it had any kind of cohesion, or that this couldn't have been 21 singles, or that I wasn't disappointed half of it was already previously released as singles, or that the lyrics were... interesting... but I'd also be lying if I said I didn't have fun with some of it!
Not a great album, but it has some good stuff.
I didn't like it as much as the first KikuoWorld album, but I honestly still enjoyed it a lot. Neat stuff. The intro is weird, I kinda love it.
After listening to the 7 Kikuo/Miku albums, it was really cool to hear Kikuo without Miku. You'd think there'd be a void left, but it's cool to see how the void is filled. Lots of cool, unique stuff!
I really liked this! Very emotional and sincere, and honestly just a beautiful album. Almost made me cry (not a high bar) at work, it was great.
