People think in crazy when I say this but this is my second favourite gorilaz album behind demon days ofc. I just love the simplicity of the album, how it has two total features compared to its predecessor humans where basically every song has a feature on it. Which I think having not a lot of features is good as it really because it brought damon Albarn's creative aspect and his voice
This is the point In my opinion where the Beatles start getting really good, I love the psychedelic element on this album, accompanied by Georges citar which some may dislike but I enjoy it as it enhances the feel of the album.
I've finally been able to talk about the grandfather's of prog, King Crimson. In the court of the crimson doesn't need any introduction everyone knows that album cover of the weird face zoomed in. This album is literally the start of the prog genre packed full of absolute bangers, ranging from the loud chaotic '21st century schizoid man' to the quiet relaxing 'i talk to the wind'(my favourite, and the song which i instantly fell in love with, and the one ... read more
This is my favourite swans album, it is packed full of bangers ranging from oxygen to she loves us(my personal favourite) to screenshot. Micheal Gira's performance in the album is good. The chaos which surrounds this album is great just the perfect amount of noise and chaos
This feels to me like the pinnacle of prog especially the first song 'close to the edge' is one of the greatest prog songs with every 18 minutes and 37 seconds of it is flawless. And the 2 other songs a very underrated on it and are very good
I liked this album it has a lot of goood moments and is more electronic than aphex twins other albums which are more on the Ambient side which I like. There a lot of great moments on this album but also quite a bit of filler also
This was my first morrisey album I listened to, this was impressive. The instrumentation was great, it felt like a smiths album in some songs which I loved, also his voice was great even though he is quite old. The first half is very good but second isn't as good.(Ps the album covers is funny)
This album is a interesting listen, loads of different cultured and languages embedded on one album is crazy, my only thing with this is though every song has a feature on and I do not like the features, I feel they ruin it for me except a few of course. And I also I dislike Damon's autotuned voice. Finally I feel the best songs are the singles realised earlier so I did not surprise me that much.
This album is such a good farewell to Syd and such a masterpiece of production. It has such a futuristic feel. Especially shine on you crazy diamond is a song I feel everyone can get a different meaning out of that everyone should hear. The only thing about this album is I'm not the biggest fan of welcome to the machine. And I never understand folk who think its pink Floyd s best album as I think either dark side or animals takes that title
I feel this album does not get as much love as it truly deserves, people always focus on abbey road and revolver but I feel this album is a very underrated album from the Beatles great discography. So many songs on this album which deserves more attention than it gets
I do understand it's importantce being one of the first concept albums of its time but I just think it's a little bit overrated. I do love some of the singles and I think John lennons performance on here is great but I just think it has too much filler for me
I don't think that its not a important album, quite the opposite but I just don't really like it too much all the songs sound similar ish and it's a lil boring
I've got to be honest here, I'm not the biggest fan of this album, yes it has a bunch of absolute bangers on it, but it has a unholy amount of filler on here, especially in the second, and I just feel this album is so inconsistent. Maybe I just don't understand it much which is fine but for now I'm not the biggest fan of it
I do think this album is a heavily overhated Floyd album. I am a big David gilmour fan and I love his voice and his gutair overall which makes me love this even more but I carnt really see ho people hate this so much. Yes it may lack some meaning behind the songs but it is a nice, fun little album which I think needs more love
This album is one of the best debuts in my opinion. The way he ads sucha futuristic atmosphere to this album and includes so much hypnotic songs which are a great starter for people getting into ambient/electronic songs. My only issue with this album is it is labeled selected ambient works when I would say it is more of a electronic album but if that's my biggest complaint about the album is the misleading title then it's good
I do think this is the best Radiohead album and my opinion of people who prefer in rainbows is that they are wrong but to keep the peace I agree with them. I think the project is the most ambitious and risking Radiohead just behind kid a. As everyone expects them to do another rock album but they come out with this. A monumentous album which explores human emotions and dips their toes into a bunch of different genres
