This album is far too good to have that cover
Head bopped the entire time I listened to this, the production is incredibly rich and almost reminiscent of Early Kanye except if Kanye started releasing music on SoundCloud with Lil B
What is there to say about this song that hasn’t already been said a thousand times? A classic by all measures
It’s quite same-ey throughout, but makes up for it with a boatload of atmosphere. The sounds of the accordion are fantastic, and coupled with the unusual throat singing it makes for a surprisingly comforting listen. Highly recommend, but also it’s probably not something I see myself coming back to often :P
I’ve given this soooo many chances but I just cannot for the life of me get used to her voice, like it is so intolerable for me I think I’d rather have my ears ripped off with pliers than hear an acapella cover of anything by her
Instrumentals are gas
Fuuuuuuck this movie terrifies me so much and the soundtrack makes me cry
Shoutout to claw machine
Creepy but also sort of comforting in a way
Very emotionally confusing album for sure, still need to listen to the other 5
His voice is giving Hugh jackman but good
I’ve fallen asleep to this album at least 10 times I love it so much I wanna eat it and cuddle it and bathe in it (separately)
“Trans avengers” “Trans people like infinity stones” WE GET IT OH MY GOD
Really really good
Peaks at the first 3 songs and drops off a bit from there but still good throughout
The instrumentals have soooo much depth it’s unreal, never heard anything like it, like I feel as if I could skydive into the soundscape and not hit the ground for hours
Saying that though, the songs kind of blend together for me with a handful of exceptions like Waging War, Godstained and The Great Bakunawa
The whole thing is good, but no individual songs stand out very much like they do in Wallsocket. I might just need to listen to this a few more times but yeah
Definitely shows the potential she had which was absolutely lived up to
Drug dealing has NEVER been this cool
Had a hard time figuring out who was who when they were rapping but once I did I could finally decide which of them to massively glaze everytime this album comes up (it’s malice btw)
Hellfire??! More like dumpster fire!!!
I’ve kind of accepted that Black Midi are just not for me, whatever everyone else sees in them just hasn’t hit me. It has these huge walls of sound (which I usually love as a JR fan) but instead of scratching the itches in my brain, it just sort of pounds it to mush. It’s technically great but I just cannot make myself like it in any way :P
