@dayforza thanks for the recommendation!
DWWL's debut "Doing What We Love" is an album that mixes rap with some pop elements, and i have to say, i enjoyed it!
while some tracks aren't really my taste, like overdue, other tracks such as stop and i feel it are genuinely really great! overall, pretty cool hidden gem which was a great listen.
A series of short, mostly 2-3 minute songs, and catchy beats creates an opportunity for MF DOOM to show his true rapping abilities, and so he did. the abstract lyrism and creative freedom creates an experience that will leave you in awe once you are done with it.
kind of falls off in the second half, but still a very good experimental album anyways
my first proper introduction to kendrick, and im blown away by his rapping abilities. the skill to tell stories through music is an amazing and awesome one to have, and kendrick pushes that to his limits in GKMC.
