Incredible album but the latter half isn’t even close to as good as the first.
I HIGHLY recommend this album. It’s very rewarding to listen to and it is VERY unique.
Severely underrated album in my opinion. I believe that most of the harsh criticism for this album is from fans who are used to their signature “sound” made in the mid to late 2000’s.
the only thing this album has going for it are a few great songs. then a bunch of garbage.
this is wacky and all over the place but i kinda dig it
This album is honestly boring. There are some highs of course such as "Creep" though it does not make up for the lack of sustenance this album brings.
Faith No Mores' The Real Thing has some of their best work. The funky bliss you experience from this is unreal.
Being aggressively punched under the ocean while super high with fish swimming around you…. Though sometimes a little too diluted, this album is just so damn epic you can’t think it’s at least good. Me personally, I can handle the dilutedness to an extent so I REALLY enjoyed this album. I think if you like prog metal at all you should hear this.
This album is a journey. As cliche as it sounds it does feel like moving from one planet to another with whales in the sky for some reason idk
