after listening to a ton of imaginal disk i decided i should check this out. not as good as imaginal disk but superr cool
really tough listen, its kind of hard to revisit but im sure it would hit even harder
Judging by every other review I’ve seen I’m stupid but this just feels like a watered down mix of everything Tyler has ever put out. I feel like the only new feeling I got was from noid. That being said it’s still a Tyler album so it’s good. Just expected him to push boundaries ig. on relisten i didnt give his inventiveness enough credit so i bumped up my score. "like him" and "thought i was dead" are definitely brand new
most of the album is pretty alright but starfall and not much of a life are insanely good
if youve been following turq's evolution as an artist between now and se bueno(another incredible album that everyone should give a listen) you would know that these beautiful soundscapes are no surprise. one of the greatest atmospheric dnb albums ever, with an incredibly captivating world that you dont notice youve gotten lost in until you're halfway through the album. i tried my best to describe how this album makes you feel but it's such a unique take on ... read more
pretty much a perfect album. the interludes should never be skipped btw they might be the best part
nearly perfect synthpop. It definitely pushes boundaries but not enough for me to call it perfect. its just professional is the best way i can describe it. great experience especially ending with the ballad of matt and mica and all the reused motifs. edit: been coming back to this a ridiculous amount and have decided that it does actually deserve a 100. such an incredibly complete and self aware album.
idk man i think the album is pretty great but its a step down imo. loving the production and the flow for the most parts but its in a lot of ways all over the place and just kinda weird. im ngl i might have gotten my hopes up for a crazy ass dariaore album bc of scaring the hoes. that could be the problem. im so tired
never reviewed this but i think this ep changed my life in 17mins lol
