I've never understood the hate on Let It Be. It's an amazing album that's superior to all of their pre-Rubber Soul albums, and Sgt. Pepper's.
An absolutely stellar and revolutionary album that's matched in its popularity, Revolver is a wonderous album, with the tiny exception of Good Day Sunshine, which may drag on for some who aren't in the mood.
A flawless album that's only rivaled by the band's other perfect album, Revolver. It's a perfect mixture of somber, heart warming, funny, and bittersweet emotions that's only amplified in its iconic "Abbey Road Medley." It's the last wave of an old friend who you'll be seeing for the last time, and it's excellent through and through.
Kanye's attempt at being groundbreaking just blends into the current industrial era it was born out of. It's groundbreaking for his discography, but not for music. And in this grand experimentation, every other aspect is dumbed down, such as themes, messaging, storytelling, and lyrical wordplay. This is without a shadow of a doubt one of the greatest Hip-Hop albums of all time. Beyond what it's done for music in regards to revolutionizing the genre and paving a new direction for all then current and future rappers, the music on this LP is just incredibly solid.
