instrumentation on this is beautiful. actually my first time jumping into a faye webster album. pleasently suprised by how unique some of the song structures are. ill have to check out some of her other stuff
the latter half with songs like ok ok, aching, of her. thats what i wanted more of. overall though happy with this project
love what he did with this album. its experimental, engaging, overall just a great bop. samples are crazy and what a nice return. production is crazy good
this one is tough to review. im really enjoying the prog aspects. as other have mentioned the bass is great here. i think the positives are being drowned out by the vocals. idk might be personal preference
enjoyed a handful of songs on this one and might come back around and listen again. Buffalo and hourglass stand out for me. couple of cringe lines that i had to just go "really?"
"you know the last scene of titanic? well im the ones playing on the deck" idk about that one chief
first half pretty solid. but how many times can this guy talk about taxes and the IRS
samples are classic hiphop but i cant get over how monotone and uninspired the vocals are
was waiting the whole time for a good song to show up. this kind of kpop was a mistake. stan apink
first 4 songs, the beats carries. after that album takes a dip imo. more of the same from 21 and i think thats fine. love to see him branch out more in the future
