As far as I’m concerned, this is one of the greatest songs ever written. The actual written words fit so well with the music it is so hypnotic, and the voice is magical. The song captures the changing emotional state between pure unadulterated hope and somehow also acceptance of unwanted change. An undeniably human thing, that we will all experience in our lifetimes.

the most kanye album that wasn't made by kanye. to make something that sounds so natural, and also manages to feel absolutely perfect at the same time is kind of a crazy thing. it's full of delicious samples, fantastic writing and all tied together with a story that most of us can resonate with to some extent. one of the albums that still sounds as good as the day it came out, definitely an all time great.
id go as far as to say this is his most well produced album. you can listen to it over 30 times and still hear something new each time, and at the same time it never feels like it's doing too much. the producer side of tyler is really showing on this one.
