God this shit slaps

Heartfelt, captivating, earnest, and soothing. Musically diverse yet somehow a cohesive experience. Album cover is a perfect representation of the music. One of my favorites of the year.

Will get memed to death in indie circles. An instant classic nonetheless.

Very pleasant listen, but Pinegrove's sound is becoming so predictable. Would like to hear some experimentation on their next project.

MID4EVER

A thoroughly entertaining concept with some absolute bangers in the first half, which then becomes murky in the second half. Neither Tyler nor Wayne add much to their songs and I wonder why they’re even featured on an album like this, but Jim Carrey pulls off the radio host character very well. Less Than Zero is definitely a song of the year candidate for me. Production is crisp throughout and The Weeknd definitely didn’t sell the musical style of the album short. ... read more
