Being their debut album, it is definitely the band at its rawest. Vocally and instrumentally it is difficult to comprehend and really enjoy at first listen, but when you really dig deeper and appreciate the uniqueness and effort put into the production of every individual track, Schlagenheim will definitely be on repeat in your playlists.
Despite being their weakest album, it still consists of top-notch production and really catchy passages that makes for an enjoyable listening experience. Unfortunately, what really holds it back is that the instrumentions really overshadow their vocals, and some parts of various songs just seem like it can be executed way batter instead of letting the instrumentations take over. Nonetheless, it is still an extremely well made record with some of their most catchiest tracks to date.
This is incredible beautiful, from the songwriting, production, instrumental choices and messaging, and she continues to prove that she is one of the best female vocalists of this era.
Another reason why 2026 is the year of hyperpop bangers. Despite the language barrier, I still enjoyed this a lot and the feature from Jane was truly killer.
