mac miller’s faces is his most abstract work is definitely an interesting one. songs range from ethereal, cosmic soundscapes like “colors and shapes” to unrelenting hardcore hip hop flows like “insomniak.” it’s kind of all over the place, yet it does what it wants to well.

this one goes pretty hard, but i'm not sure how to feel about this one. it's super experimental and unique, so much so that i genuinely have no idea what this song is supposed to be. still, i see the vision, just going to take some time to grow on me.

edit: genuinely surprised how fast this grew on me. it’s such a wacky, strange track, yet it’s also an unexpected banger. super excited to hear the album.

i actually really liked this one

this is a crazy one. when i saw the live listening party, i gotta be honest, i was pretty skeptical. when it dropped though; it turned out to be a huge vibe!
still pretty bummed the whole album wasn’t like lithonia after the single dropped. phenomenal track.

super tranquil album. not every song is amazing but the sound of this album is heavenly. definitely listen to the album at night. also midnight is a fantastic track, i love james blake's voice on this LP.
