April Album Swap #27
Way more experimental than I was expecting. It’s definitely a very different album from Dummy which is not a bad thing. I really enjoyed a lot of the tracks off here, and while it doesn’t quite reach the orgasmic heights of Dummy, it still holds its own as a great album. There’s so many really beautiful moments that contrast the abrasive and almost industrial instrumentals. It’s a very diverse record. That being said I definitely prefer the more beautiful sounds they go for on here to the industrial ones. Songs like The Rip and Magic Doors are absolutely incredible. So yea overall I really enjoyed this and it makes me even more excited to revisit dummy.
