How I felt after beating karmelita (it took me 6 hours)

Some of the greatest songwriting ever. The third verse especially is maybe a top 5 verse ever. Not to mention the outro which is one of the most breathtaking things I’ve ever heard. Just all around one of the greatest songs ever made.

She genuinely makes some of the most visceral and horrifying music I’ve ever heard. Her lyrics are super blunt and paint an incredibly clear portrait of violence. At some points this record gets straight up apocalyptic, it is absolutely insane. Sonically this is a really cool combination of chamber music and death industrial. Instrumentally this is much more stripped back than I was expecting. It really highlights the deep insightful lyrics.
