Hello! Cubert here, and I'm finally diving into reviewing Kendrick Lamar.
He’s given me so much inspiration as a rapper that I’ve always wondered why I never tackled his albums before.
Nowadays, I consider Section.80 a classic. Even if a few tracks feel a bit dull at times, they still carry weight and meaning.
Those slower moments may not hit as hard sonically, but they add to the album’s overall message and raw storytelling.

Some songs that really resonated with me were A.D.H.D, Rigamortus, HiiiPower, and Keisha’s Song (Her Pain).
These tracks hit hard with their messages and fuckin tuff lyrics, and yet they sparked something in my mind
a feeling I can’t quite explain, like they tapped into a deeper thought I didn’t know I had.
Kendrick’s ability to balance vulnerability with sharp commentary makes this project feel more like a poetic manifesto than just a debut.

Section.80 might not be flawless, but its honesty, ambition, and hunger shine through.
It’s the kind of album that sticks with you, not just because of the beats or bars, but because of the truth behind them.
And for me, that’s what makes it timeless.
