Okay, I lowkey thought this was a brand new Freddie Gibbs album, and I was wrong, but hey, I am NOT complaining
These three songs are nothing but bangers, the production is probably my favorite part of this little project from him
I'm mainly someone who goes, "If it sounds good, then I think it's peak, lol" I don't really criticize the themes of songs most of the time, I just like enjoying music and bopping my head to it, especially rap music
So I've just been ... read more
This album really helped me get through some rough patches. It introduced me to more emotional, angsty music—raw expressions of anger and frustration that I could relate to. Everyone interprets music differently, but I don’t usually dig into “what it really means”; I just let it hit me the way it does. And for me, this album hit hard.
I've always doubted in the past that rap and rock didn't really mix together until my mom decided to turn this on in her car ... read more
A pretty good chief keef song, overall its average! I do like the beat a ton tho. Ian overall is Just meh idk I wasn't feeling his ft much
Nas, one of my favorite rap artists of all time, and I decided to listen to this album as I reviewed 21's new album. As I didn't have the highest expectations for it and it still was a dud, but okay, time to get started with my review.
Also, before I begin, I'm gonna start being more short and simple, so here we go.
The first 2 tracks were really good until NY State of Mind Pt. 3. It was really the beat that really drowned it for me; it just fuckin sucked, man. Then it picks up ... read more
Ill be completely honest, this album is pretty shit but there is some good songs, I did like where you from, cup full, step brothers, and pop it just remove latto, the verse just felt so mid so mid and some of the beats were PRETTY stale I can't lie, this is problably the only 21 savage album so far that I genueinly dislike, how do you go from I am > I was to american dream and then to THIS?? again, not complete shit there's some good tracks but damn really really overwhelming from ... read more
I feel like this album is a bit underrated and yeah it’s not a masterpiece, but it’s definitely something you can just turn on and bang your head to. The beats are banging: tracks like Hate in Yo Eyes, Work, Let the Thugs in the Club, all slap hard. There’s this unmistakable groove to the production that makes you nod from start to finish, and it’s that classic late-’90s West Coast sound with a twist. By this point, G-funk was starting to evolve, and you can hear ... read more
listened to this at about 8 years old, though some of the beats are dull and the lack of some fts, its still a pretty nostalgic album for me, so disrespectful being my favorite out of all tracks
I honestly did not enjoy this album at all, it just feels so empty and that's my opinion
and why did bro change identities
This shit was so ass, it makes instructions sound like a 100-rated must-hear album
sadly really mid except for the first 2 tracks, certified trapper should never cook again on a song like long nights again, but overall its a mid project with some mid beats but at least babytron brings some heat to the table
This is, if not my favorite Travis Scott album, easily one of his best. It honestly felt like his debut and his magnum opus at the same time. Everything just pieces together so well, the transitions, the features, the overall vibe. Tracks like “Nightcrawler,” “Antidote,” “90210,” and “Maria I’m Drunk” are some of the absolute best in his entire discography, no
What I love most, besides the insane production, is the psychedelic energy ... read more
Every track is a jump scare for my ears… at least it’s an improvement! Only 2 songs that are bearable are the first 2
