issa album alright I be sleepyyyy n boredd thru these trackz had to drink coffee to go thru da next songsπ₯π₯π₯(this is just a bullshit review, it was an alright album tho ig lol)
Now before y’all say I’m glazing this album or some shit like that, I’m not trying to sound that way.
This is one of my favorite hip-hop albums of all time but I’ll also say it: it’s overrated!
So let’s talk about 50 Cent himself first.
Before becoming a rap icon, 50 Cent, born Curtis Jackson in Queens, New York, survived a turbulent upbringing and a near-fatal shooting in 2000 that left him with nine bullet wounds. That scary reality shaped his raw, ... read more
So, I’ve been a huge Wu-Tang fan for a long time, and starting today, I’m diving more into their solo artists. I’ve already covered Redman and Method Man, as far as I can remember so now I’m onto Ghostface, my third favorite! I’ve always loved his slightly aggressive, almost yelling style of rapping. Actually, what I really mean is hardcore, I’ve always been into hardcore hip hop, as long as it’s done right!
Now, talking about the album, I’m ... read more
So raekwons new album defenitly surprised me! Its a really good project though a little bloated, now I won't yap about all the songs so Ima keep it simple, I really liked the lyrics and production but mainly the production, the features were awesome, overall a pretty good album by yours truly THE CHEF
I never heard of Immortal Technique before, but if we compare him to other artists who dabbled in horrorcore at some point—like Eminem’s Slim Shady persona, I’m talking Slim Shady specifically, not Eminem in general, Eminem was definitely a shocking listen back in the day. But Revolutionary Vol. 1 In my opinion, it’s a really DARK album, maybe even one of the DARKEST hip-hop albums in history. Not even trying to exaggerate. And Dance with the Devil has to be one of the ... read more
I never reviewed this one yet, funny enough but here we go.
Ahh yes, d4vd! one of our generation’s most fantastic voices. It’s seriously impressive how his vocals sound, especially with his pitch. That’s my favorite thing about d4vd: he just sounds so clean. Crystal. No noise, no nonsense just real and literal feeling.
Oh, and this album/EP contains some of his best work. Like-
Romantic Homicide, obviously.
WORTHLESS, Sleep Well, You and I, don't forget about me

This was the most amazing 28 minutes I’ve ever heard, I’m beyond blown away by this project.
At first, I thought Let God Sort ‘Em Out had amazing beats, but this album completely changed my perspective on production.
Like, god DAMN, Tyler you COOKED on this one. It’s straight-up amazing. The tracks that really stood out to me were “Stop Playing
With Me” and “Don’t Tap That Glass/Tweakin’” probably my favorites on the entire ... read more
Reviewing an album from the year I was born yep, I’m a 2008 baby.
So I decided to check out a 2008 album that surprised me with how good it actually is.
The production is hands down my favorite part it’s got that raw, gritty energy but still feels modern. The rappers all bring serious heat too. Honestly, it’s like a modern-day Wu-Tang for this timeline.
Standout tracks for me are “Winds of Change,” “We Alright,” and “The Show.” Also gotta ... read more
jackboys 2 is actually WORSE than the ORIGINAL and the original I could stand but holy shit dude its like he didn't even TRY.
the only songs I enjoyed was champain & vacay along 2000 EXCURSION and I mean that with my heart, those are the ONLY SONGS I liked, playboi carti's albums were better than this boo boo, like utopia did amazing but how did we come down too THIS man.
also WOBBILY WIGGLY or whoever the fuck spat that shit out lol shit was so ass I had to give my ears some ... read more
this is problably my favorite hiphop album of the 2010s and rather the one that really inspired me a ton, It has a special place in my heart since the day I listened to it one of my favorite songs off this project is keep it G not only is smokeghostpurrp on it but also the lil jazzy melody it contains, flows are amazing as well as the delivery, overall this is one of my top hip hop albums!
favorite tracks:
Palace
keep it G,
Demons
Wassup
Houston Old Head
So I listened to my 2nd ever JANE REMOVER album and I gotta say that most of these songs sound a bit more emotional in a way and that’s what I love about it! I also see the production leads more into rather ROCK / Emo themes, and that’s nice even though I’m out of my emo phases since the JUICE-XXX- yk all those artists in that era.
Even if I’m not really into emo anymore (as I said), I can still vibe with how the album captures that bittersweet feeling like holding onto ... read more
This is culturally inappropriate.
Well... Clipse really dropped their album, years later, with Pharrell Williams producing the entire thing!
I’ve been hyped for this ever since “So Be It” and “Ace Trumpets” dropped. Those tracks alone had me on the edge of my seat. Now that the full project is out, we’ve got straight heat like:
The Birds Don’t Sing
Chains & Whips
P.O.V.
Inglorious Bastards
Let God Sort Em Out / Chandeliers
By the Grace of God

Initially, I was hyped, those first few tracks had me nodding along. But by the sixth song, it started to feel repetitive. The melodies began to blur together, and I found myself losing interest. It reminded me of Playboi Carti's style, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it didn't bring anything new to the table.
Compared to PLAN A, which I genuinely enjoyed, Dopamine didn't hit the same mark for me. That album had a fresh vibe and kept me engaged throughout. This ... read more
While YIN was rather aggressive, this album takes a more emotional and introspective approach. I gotta say, I was pretty surprised. I ended up liking this project just as much as I enjoyed YIN.
It features a number of deep, personal tracks like "guts," "I'm going crazy," and "take the fall." hope is by far one of my favorite songs by Darkie. I love everything about it, especially the instrumentals and lyrics.
This album really shows how he’s growing as ... read more
Soul In Session - My Most Personal/Serious Review.
Besides VANDAL being the next best thing close to reality, Soul In Session is probably my BEST boom-bap album. I took this one the most seriously, no bullshit. I even produced two simple-ass fucking tracks just to add my own flavor I mean ITS nothing flashy, just raw hip-hop essence.
It’s like if the original WAR album and the WAR REMAKE had an orgy with my scrapped "THE PEACE" album all that energy, balance, and soul just ... read more
I finally gave a full Redman album a listen and wow, I was never bored for a second. This project is a straight-up blast from start to finish. The funk-infused production hits hard, and Redman’s wild, playful energy keeps things fresh on every track. His lyricism is sharp, hilarious, and clever in a way that feels effortless. Whether he's cracking jokes or flexing his skills, there's a constant sense of fun that pulls you in.
What really stood out is how Redman balances gritty ... read more
The album was released in the year I was born, so yeah, I’m a bit of a "young" pal in this rap stuff!
But I appreciate it more than the new stuff nowadays.
And around these times, people banked ice cube as a "movie guy" or the "old school legend"
By 2008, trap was in full swing, and who would've thought Ice Cube would step into that lane and pull it off?
Many people didn't like this project much, maybe because they weren’t ready to hear a ... read more
By the time this album dropped in 1998, Snoop wasn’t just switching labels, he was weathering a storm of bullshit. Death Row Records was collapsing. 2Pac was dead. Suge Knight was behind bars. Dr. Dre had already bounced. And for snoop, he was literally fighting for his life. He’d beaten a murder charge just a few years earlier, and by the late ’90s, he was desperate to escape Death Row’s toxic environment. So he signed with Master P’s No Limit Records, moved down ... read more
