So as a person who liked hiphop since like 8 years old
I finally decided to dip my toes into the sounds of mobb deep
and this record was pretty awesome
My highlights are obviously the production but the lyrics were also good!
Havoc and prodigy together always be cooking on tracks
and speaking of tracks here are some of my track highlights
Cradle to the grave
Survival of the fittest
Shook ones PT. II
Eye for a eye (Your beef is mines)
Give Up the goods (just step)

So I've never enjoyed this album for a while, it's one of those records that just didn’t hit at first. But recently, it’s started to grow on me a little bit, and that’s alright :)
Now A$AP is probably one of my favorite rappers, no question, But it’s this record that had me skeptical, I didn’t know if it was serious, hype, personal, experimental, or just a mix of everything and honestly, it kinda messed with me. The production at the time threw me OFF ... read more
Okay, so this is my number one album that I own right beside The Eminem Show on CD.
It’s more inspirational to me in terms of production — not really cinematic, but feels more boom-bappy, and that’s my style. So, I view it the way it is. Go ahead, be judgmental of my ears.
But honestly, this is a really good album. Sure, some say it’s overrated but not really in my eyes. I actually feel The Eminem Show is more overrated.
If Eminem hadn’t been so caught up in ... read more
This album right here kinda grew on me.
Sure, it’s a little overhated, but that didn’t really stop me from listening.
Now, this album didn’t inspire me ‘cause I wasn’t wanting to write lyrics like some of the stuff on this project.
Now let’s get to the review!
Relapse is one of those albums where you can really tell Em was experimenting like the accented voices, crazy-ass storytelling, and dark, detailed production from Dre and Em that gave the whole thing ... read more
So I'm not doing a full ass rant review on this but I am gonna say it
out of every single rap project I have heard in my lifetime
this shit right here inspired me to even RAP in the first place
Sure I'm a dusty low skilled artist but I won't say this shit didn't inspire me
the production on this project is just amazing too me
my favorite track being white america cause of that damn guitar in the background like yk the RIFF
Shit is so inspirational I had mental heart ... read more
Well, he's come back with Alfredo 2, and it goes to show that not all sequels are bad.
Overall, I really enjoyed the production on this album, especially the features from Anderson .Paak and JID, those tracks really stood out to me. Upon first listen, I had some mixed feelings, but after a few more plays, I've come to the conclusion that I really liked it.
Freddie Gibbs has got to be one of the top artists out today. He's got that delivery and flow that I like most about ... read more
I didn’t know what to expect going into this Lil Darkie album at the time, but what I got completely caught me off guard, in the best way possible. I was surprised by how much more chill and laid-back it was, instead of just the usual constant AGGRO energy.
Honestly, this is one of my favorite Darkie records. Tracks like cold outside and show me a sign really stood out to me. But don’t get me wrong, I still enjoyed some of the heavier, angrier cuts like THE FUTURE IS DARK, AMERICAN ... read more
The album is ok- like, just ok. The only track that really bangs is obviously What’s Poppin. After that, I wanna see some ass, but nah, it didn’t deliver. And “Once May Comes” straight up ruined the flow for me. The rest of the songs tho- Nah, it ain’t it, chief.
If Jack Harlow didn’t use “gang” three times in Gang Gang Gang (the title)
people who haven’t even heard the song might’ve thought it was some kind of gangster emergency lol
Overall… this project is ok. Nothing crazy, but not lazy either. He dips into deeper territory on some tracks, which I respect. Still, it didn’t really stick with me all the way through, still had me bored.
The only songs I really liked were Gang Gang Gang (lol) and Denver. ... read more
So when this album first dropped, I wasn’t really feeling it all that much. But now, it’s really grown on me—I’ve had it on repeat lately. It’s a really introspective project from Cordae, which is impressive considering he came from YBN.
His style and overall vibe remind me a lot of J. Cole, thoughtful, smooth, and honest. My favorite track is probably No Bad News featuring Kanye West. Overall it’s a solid album, not a masterpiece, but definitely good. The ... read more
I actually own this album physically on CD. It was probably the first hip-hop album I ever heard, and it holds a really special place in my heart.
It also introduced me to a bunch of artists for the first time.
like Kendrick Lamar, Tyler, The Creator, Kurupt, 2 Chainz, and a few others. This project really opened the door for me into the world of hip hop.
Now, my favorite songs on the album would have to be:
Gangsta
Collard Greens
The Purge
Blind Threats
Studio
Man of the Year
All of them ... read more
awesome album, imo deserves a must hear, also yearn 101 goes so fucking HARD dude
The coke rapper has returned with a banger album!!!
Darkest Before Dawn is definitely on the darker side, production-wise, and Pusha-T sounds more aggressive here than ever. The beats are eerie, gritty, and fulllll of tension, they set the perfect mood for his cold, calculated delivery.
This was actually the first solo project I heard from Pusha, since I was mostly bumping Clipse before. And honestly, it made a strong impression. It feels like the perfect bridge between the rawness of Clipse ... read more
Hell Hath No Fury is like the sound of two men rapping in a snowstorm with nothing but designer coats and coke metaphors to keep them warm.
If I’m being honest, this is probably my favorite Clipse album. Pusha T and Malice are incredibly focused and surgical, even with their flows. The whole thing leans more toward paranoia and introspection than flashy party vibes. It’s dark, minimal, and full of tension, like it’s always two seconds away from something snapping.
Now, what ... read more
Well I'm gonna give a bit more to this review, so lets get started
So this is my first time hearing this guy, he's pretty smooth with his flow it reminds me of snoop dogg in a way kinda more laid back and chill
Its already grown on me as I like the songs, hate blood, ballin out of control and welcome to atlanta along with Money, hoes & power and lets talk about it and whatever there all pretty good tracks
From what I've seen he's only dropped 2 projects, and Ill say ... read more
