Tom MacDonald - FACTS
0

Ben Shapiro carrying the ‘rapper’ is like your substitute teacher dunking on LeBron, that’s how fucked up up is. This wasn’t an eargasm I swear.. doesn't even COUNT, this bullshit came right out of satan’s ass crack and he doesn't have any toilet paper to wipe it, this song was so bad I almost had to vaporize someone with my super duper cool laser gun straight out of call of duty zombies

much better than that bs gunna album frfr

Tom MacDonald - Proud To Be a Problem

I think Tom MacDonald's bitchass should put down the mic and pick up the fryer basket. The only bars I want from him are the ones on a McDonald’s window at 2 a.m. when they tell you the ice cream machine is broken, absolutely fucking embarrassing.

FEM&M - ADDHERALL
100

It’s goofy, it’s silly! It makes my autism act fucking insane!

No borderline bullshit, but holy fuck it SLAPS. Every beat sounds like it got left in the microwave too long and came out mutated in the best way. FEM&M just makes the kind of noise that gets stuck in your brain and makes you laugh while you’re losing your shit and constantly getting headaches from banging your head to this absolute peak of music!
Silly-core excellence 😼😼😼

Yeat - DANGEROUS SUMMER
78

okay I really really slept on this project and I gotta say its finally grown a lot on me overtime
now lets talk about this "ep" even though its more ALBUM length

Sooo the first song started off really strong especially with the transition too the actual beat, kind of reminded me of that drake song w/ yeat on it I think it was called "IDGAF" or some shit like that, now LOCO, COME N GO, I'M YEAT and FLY NITE are problably my strongest picks on this project if I had too ... read more

Jane Remover - Teen Week

man this little EP tickles my brain in a good way, tickles it so much it passes out from laughter
gosh man I just adore the production, like breakbeat mixed with hyperpop, it just fits so well!
this leans into a more emo side of things but that doesn't really ruin it for me
one of my favorite songs off this lil goober of an EP has gotta be "woodside gardens 16 december 2012" orrr "homeswitcher" there just really really good !, overall a really solid and awesome project ... read more

Jane Remover - Revengeseekerz

So I basically listened to this when it dropped and holy shit, it’s gotta be one of the most, if not the most, BOUNCY projects I’ve ever heard in my LIFE. Let’s talk about some of the highlights, shall we?

To start, “Psychoboost” ft. Danny Brown had me acting up like, ACTING UP. The whole song goes insane, then you’ve got “Experimental Skin” and “Professional Vengeance.” Both are so good, and while they feel a little more poppy than ... read more

bro be dropping the hardest fucking songs I've ever heard

Ice Cube - Man Up
70

DAMN.

Honestly, this album I really enjoyed after his last few duds of projects, I meant the second of this album goes fucking HARD with the beats, before hip hop is probably the only song I didn't enjoy much, just felt out of place. Now songs like Man power, All work no play, ratchet ass mouth, forget me if you ain't with me are definitely some high lights, all in all this is probably cubes best project in about a decade!

J. Cole - Might Delete Later
70

I feel like some people were a bit too harsh on J. Cole with this project.

It’s neither bad nor groundbreaking, it’s a fairly decent album overall. There are some noticeable misses, like “H.Y.B.,” where I felt Central Cee’s feature brought the track down a bit; his flow came across as generic and uninspired.
Another track that didn’t fully land for me was “Fever,” which just felt… meh.. serviceable, but not memorable.

That said, the ... read more

Joey Bada$$ - Lonely At The Top
80

DAMN.

Joey too this day is still fire with his pen game
lonely at the top imo is still a meh title for an album
but lets talk about the songs!
joey felt a bit more experimental on some tracks
some hype, some introspective, some hybrids!
its nice too know he's still keeping real rap alive
dark aura has gotta be one of his best songs too along with bk's finest
the lest best song on here has gotta be ready to love, idk ty dolla sign just felt washy washed in a way
underwater and ... read more

Gunna - The Last Wun

what they thinking? nah nah what the fuck were YOU thinking gunna

Future - Pluto
56

So this is future when bro started huh? well.. its alright for his debut, the features are okay too, I didn't overly enjoy this all that much but some songs were good and some were just duds for me, I was brought into the trap music scene when I heard YOUNG DOLPH (my favorite rapper), so obviously at the time I was looking for more of this "trap" shit, aaaand listening to FUTURE on this album felt boring, I don't know I just didn't like it at all lol, but not to bad for ... read more

Young Dolph - High Class Street Music 5: The Plug Best Friend

this is like his BEST mixtape in my opinion

Metro Boomin - Metro Boomin Presents: A Futuristic Summa

this mixtape makes me sad, its so bloated... most of it sounds.. the same in some parts.. the features are kinda ass too... what happened bro.

DMX - It's Dark and Hell Is Hot
80

Even though he’s gone, DMX was never a ‘good’ person and that’s exactly what made It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot so raw, so terrifying, and so unforgettable

There’s a handful of straight-up bangers and some strong storytelling on this album. tracks like “X-Is Coming” and “Crime Story”-
those were dark. Like, genuinely disturbing. On “X-Is Coming,” my man raps about killing someone’s wife and well, you know the word, doing ... read more

Ice Cube - War & Peace Vol. 2 (The Peace Disc)
80

One of my all time favorite projects and the first few albums that introduced me into hip hop
Its also another project that inspired me to write lyrics
My biggggest standout it the production it just goes so HARD for a long while
Yet I will admit the album is bloated but fuck that just put this in your CAR and enjoy the ride
I wasn't ever a fan of the skits cause imo they didn't make no shitty sense at all
So maybe if there weren't skits or they were executed better, maybe this ... read more

WE BLE$$ED - time loop
80

Sooo, here’s Time Loop. Now, it’s a good project, I’ll give WE BLE$$ED that! WOOP WOOP GO GOATED πŸ—£οΈπŸ—£οΈπŸ—£οΈπŸ—£οΈ
It is DEFENITLY his best out of the other non rap shits he's done in the past
It is also definitely in my top 3 WE BLE$$ED albums!
It’s just the structure that makes it feel kind of strange in a way that confuses me
The thing that really stands out to me is the production, I looooved the production
There are some highs and lows though, with ... read more

Tyler, The Creator - Goblin
75

I've probably enjoyed this more than anybody else because... well... here we go.

I've always liked horrorcore in terms of production, sometimes the lyrics too, if done right.

I enjoyed all the songs except for the ones that go for fucking 6-7 minutes. Like, what the fucky???

It's just the overall flow of the album. Maybe if he didn't add the deluxe tracks, we'd be good for what's left of it.

Fuck the song "Bitch Suck Dick."
"Yonkers" is a ... read more

"I'd say my energy was a bit off for this album. At the time, I thought it did fine, but looking back, it's kind of subpar compared to the original. The previous album had a lot more variety, and, you know, sometimes sequels just aren't as good as the originals. Lol. Thank you for the review, DOX! πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™"

"I'm trying to work on the "flaws mainly" and I'm sort of stepping down from the lyrical stuff as I kinda see it isn't fitting well for me, I'm more focused on making quality/good music rather than music we can yk all have to listen closely too in order to understand I also realized when it comes to opium I REALLY have to find a voice for it at some point lolz Thank you for the review though!"
