Boosie Badazz – Real Music Only (2025)
Rating: 6.5/10
Boosie Badazz’s Real Music Only feels like a classic Boosie album—nothing too extraordinary, but still a solid offering for those who follow his grind. The album leans heavily into his usual trap sound, with themes of struggle, survival, and street life woven throughout. While there’s no denying Boosie’s authenticity, Real Music Only doesn’t push him in new directions or break any new ground. It’s ... read more
Boosie’s Touch Down 2 Cause Hell is a solid comeback album that blends mainstream appeal with his signature raw energy. The production is polished, the features are well-placed, and Boosie delivers with hunger and emotion. Some tracks feel stronger than others, but overall, it’s a well-rounded project that re-establishes his presence in the industry.

I almost forgot this album existed… and honestly, maybe I should’ve left it that way. Big Sean and Metro Boomin linking up sounded like a W on paper, but in reality? It’s like putting steak sauce on a McDouble, it just ain’t working.
Track Breakdown:
Go Legend – Travis Scott puts the team on his back like he’s carrying groceries for his grandma. Metro’s beat knocks, but Sean just kinda… exists. 7.5/10

Lil Baby has been one of the biggest names in trap for years now, and while his solo albums have been hit or miss, his consistency as a feature artist is undeniable. His latest project, WHAM, doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but it does have its moments where everything clicks. With production from heavy hitters like ATL Jacob, Wheezy, and Southside, the beats are polished, even if they don’t always push new boundaries.
The biggest highlight of the album is Dum, Dumb, and Dumber, ... read more
My most anticipated wait has finally came.. and I gotta say this album was really fucking good, very, very good. The energy goes crazy, and the production is solid, in my opinion. The features really make it worth listening to as well, I can tell you worked hard on this fr fr

Cruise EP had its highlights, but honestly, some of the lyrics felt a bit basic, like they could’ve used more punch. Also, the mic quality just kinda ruins it sometimes for me, or at least better presets to give it a cleaner balance. That being said, the production was solid, and the features brought a lot to the table (including me, Tripp Dawg).
Track Ratings:
Cruise – 5/10

Double Cash – 8/10
On Tour II – 7.5/10

Before Monsters is a solid project that shows a lot of promise. As a former collaborator with Billy Banks, I can say he’s really found his own voice as a solo artist. The album has raw energy and emotion, but you can feel there’s still more for him to tap into. He’s definitely stepping into his own, and it's exciting to see his growth. It's a great project overall, but I’m looking forward to seeing how he evolves even further.

First time listening too a westside gunn album, lets get started shall we?
Westside Gunn’s 12 continues the HWH saga with solid, jazz-influenced beats from Daringer, Conductor, and Denny LaFlare.
While production is strong, it doesn’t offer much new.
Lyrically, Gunn sticks to his street tales, and the album features more Stove God and Estee Nack, who fit well but don’t steal the spotlight.
Highlights include Health Science, Gumbo Yaya, and Outlander, while Veert feels like a ... read more
Review: From a Bird’s Eye View by Cordae
Cordae’s sophomore album, From a Bird’s Eye View, finds the rapper navigating through personal growth, fame, and navigating his place in the industry. While there are some highlights, the album struggles to maintain the same impact as his debut, The Lost Boy. This project feels more polished and commercially focused, which sometimes works in its favor, but often leaves the listener wanting more depth or energy. The tracklist features ... read more
So, I’m finally reviewing a Cordae album. After two listens of his debut, I gotta say—it’s a pretty solid project! I don’t love it, but I don’t hate it either. There are some really good songs, and a few that don’t fully click for me, but overall, it’s a damn good debut. I won’t be reviewing the skits (I don’t really do that), but here’s my track-by-track rating. Let’s get into it

Better Dayz (2002) - Album Review
For a posthumous album, Better Dayz is surprisingly well put together. The production is clean, giving off All Eyez on Me vibes at times, and the album manages to stay engaging despite its nearly two-hour runtime. Some songs feel like obvious reworks, but overall, it doesn’t suffer from the rushed or unfinished feel that plagues a lot of posthumous releases. While the length can be overwhelming, it delivers a solid mix of bangers and introspective cuts, ... read more
When it comes to posthumous 2Pac albums, Loyal to the Game is by far one of the most controversial. Produced entirely by Eminem, it was meant to introduce Pac’s music to a new generation, but instead, it ended up being a jarring mismatch of styles. While Eminem is a legend in his own right, his production choices here feel awkward, overproduced, and at times, even disrespectful to Pac’s raw energy.
One of the biggest flaws of Loyal to the Game is how Eminem approached Pac’s ... read more
Released in 2024, What Is Reality? stands as my most groundbreaking project to date. This album was a deep dive into the duality of perception and existence, blurring the lines between truth and illusion. It explored themes of fame and materialism, personal struggle and raw aggression

Released in 1990, AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted marked Ice Cube’s bold departure from N.W.A, and set the stage for his solo career in the rap game. Produced primarily by The Bomb Squad (best known for their work with Public Enemy), the album combines political commentary with gritty street knowledge, shaping Cube’s image as one of the most outspoken and impactful voices in hip-hop.

Drake, my man, you had one job. One job. After being absolutely roasted and called out by Kendrick for nearly a year straight, I’m sure the last thing you should’ve done was *double down* on the very thing that people have been calling you out for—being creepy, cringey, and a fraud. But what does the man do? He releases an album titled *$ome $exy $ongs 4U*... Yeah, you heard that right. And what a *masterclass* in ruining what little dignity you had left.

Illmatic is a legendary album that captures the essence of 90s East Coast hip hop with Nas’s razor-sharp storytelling and impeccable flow. Released in 1994, this album still stands as a blueprint for what great hip hop should sound like. The production is tight, with contributions from DJ Premier, Pete Rock, and Q-Tip, while Nas’s lyrical skill is front and center, tackling everything from the struggles of street life to personal reflections on ambition and the future.

The songs were good, but some tracks were a little ehh. Overall, it’s a pretty solid album. The use of samples was cool, and the flows were nice too. Definitely has its highlights, but not everything hit as hard as it could've. Still, a good listen overall.

This is definitely one of my more underrated favorite projects when it comes to 90s/2000s hip hop. It's a solid album, and while it's pretty good overall, there are a few spots that can feel a little underwhelming. Some of the songs may seem "eh" or even like fillers, but at its core, it doesn’t really take away from the legacy of the artist or the impact this project had. It’s got some gems, some tracks that might not hit as hard, but overall, it's a decent ... read more
Overall, this is a solid album. While I’m not sure I’d give it a perfect score, I do appreciate the effort, especially with the features. The intro, where I jumped in, feels a bit rushed, and I was dealing with some writer’s block at the time. But beyond that, I’m really digging the other tracks. The trappy songs with Dox, while interesting, could use a bit more polish in terms of flow, but I get that it’s all about experimenting with new sounds, so I’m not ... read more
Review: The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory
This is my first official album review, meaning I’m not talking about my own music this time. I wanted to start with a classic, and what better choice than The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory by Makaveli (2Pac)? This album is raw, emotional, and one of Pac’s most intense projects, also that critic score is some fuckass bullshit bro 💀
