LEAST FAVORITE TRACK: Life Goes On

So according to friends from school who live on the west coast, Bryce Vine is supposed to be the NBT. As a dumb east coaster, I thought I would get ahead of the curve this time and give this a listen. I haven't been a fan of Bryce Vine's music before hearing this EP and afterwards my opinion hasn't changed much.

I find Bryce Vine's music really boring. Problems and Fireside feel like tracks that are just good for background noise. They're ok but the lyrics are mediocre at best. The chorus of It Falls Apart and Strawberry Water are really the only things keeping it from being absolutely horrendous. Bryce Vine has a very laid-back, acoustic style to him which is a sub-genre of rap that I've never personally been a fan of but I can think of ten artists that Vine copies on this in just a not-so-good manner.

This EP is kinda lifeless. I wish it had more substance but it really has nothing going for it besides being pretty decent background noise.
