Honestly, the only song that was a skip for me was Truman. I am not sure why I heard so many positive reviews about Truman, but it was not my cup of tea.
Standout songs were definitely Escape and Burnin' Tires!
I was sleeping during the day on a vacation with friends, and to wake me up, they opened the bedroom door, and all I heard was "YEAH, THIS TRAIN NEVER SLEEPS!"
The only listenable tracks off this album were "Dust", "National Treasures", and "What Did I Miss?" The rest of the album sounds like what you would get if you pulled a privileged 16-year-old boy from Missouri and asked him to write about how lonely the world is and how girls don't understand him.
The amount of Dr. Suess similes and mind-dumbing analogies I had to sit through was absolutely disorienting.
Genuinely enjoyable tracks from start to finish. The only song I did not enjoy was WHY? and that is due to some cheesy lyrics I couldn't get past. Otherwise, a really solid Japanese Album from Stray Kids. I don't know why, but their Japanese songs seem to be some of their best work.
A really solid EP that cemented Stray Kids as international stars. "I Like It" was the first song I ever heard by the group, and I fell in love instantly. While JJAM is a thorn in this project, the rest of the songs are constructed beautifully by 3RACHA and have pleased fans ever since the EP's release.
