Honestly, the only song that was a skip for me was Truman. I am not sure why I heard so many positive reviews about Truman, but it was not my cup of tea.
Standout songs were definitely Escape and Burnin' Tires!
I was sleeping during the day on a vacation with friends, and to wake me up, they opened the bedroom door, and all I heard was "YEAH, THIS TRAIN NEVER SLEEPS!"
The only listenable tracks off this album were "Dust", "National Treasures", and "What Did I Miss?" The rest of the album sounds like what you would get if you pulled a privileged 16-year-old boy from Missouri and asked him to write about how lonely the world is and how girls don't understand him.
The amount of Dr. Suess similes and mind-dumbing analogies I had to sit through was absolutely disorienting.
Genuinely enjoyable tracks from start to finish. The only song I did not enjoy was WHY? and that is due to some cheesy lyrics I couldn't get past. Otherwise, a really solid Japanese Album from Stray Kids. I don't know why, but their Japanese songs seem to be some of their best work.
A really solid EP that cemented Stray Kids as international stars. "I Like It" was the first song I ever heard by the group, and I fell in love instantly. While JJAM is a thorn in this project, the rest of the songs are constructed beautifully by 3RACHA and have pleased fans ever since the EP's release.
A really solid EP! The standouts for me would definitely be "Cover Me" and "Leave". They work really well as the softer ballads on the project, and are some of the best ballads Stray Kids have released to date. "Megaverse" is a little all over the place, but it has its moments and works well with the overall tracklist.
"Blind Spot" and "Comflex" are the skips of the album, but overall, I am not disappointed!
I feel like 2022 Demi would have hated this album.
This is not an album. This is an experience. Such a lift up for women who are going through a hard time and have been down on themselves.
The only skips on this album would be DLC, Youtiful, and Time Out. Other than that, the album was great! I really enjoyed it and thought that they did a great job experimenting with their sound and style. Definitely one of their best albums that I have listened to so far!
The songs that hit really hit. And then there were the others...lovely voice, though!
"When I die" made me feel so ult back in the day, and it had no reason to.
