J. Cole's Friday Night Lights if full of thrilling performances and hunger from young Cole back when he wasn't mainstream.
It's crazy how the 2 best songs here Villematic and Looking for Trouble both have Ye involved directly in them
Each element reviewed next
Production: It's basic for the most part with some very diverse beats other times, he even used the Devil in a New Dress beat on Villematic and it is the best song on the album, I liked it overall

This album ain't bad but I just felt that it was a bit unfocused and a mixed bag of ideas that at times felt too basic for Cole level
p r o d u c t i o n:Basic trap beats all the time and thats what really pissed me off for the most part of the album, prolly the biggest contribution to this mid rating
l y r i c s . a n d . c o n t e n t : Cole's usual top level rapping and Cole had really good rhyme schemes during this album but the content is significantly worse than his previous, ... read more
4 Your Eyez Only, a concept album that tells the story of his late friend, a former drug dealer trying to reform his life for his daughter and that makes this album beatiful but it isn't perfect.
Each element reviewd next.
Production: It's great for the most part with the jazzy chill prod but there are a couple of songs where i feel like it could have been more present than it was, like on She's Mine, Pt. 1.
Lyrics and content: As i already mentioned this is a concept album so ... read more
Overhated.
Production: Very light trap beats that clearly aren't the best part of this album but still work. Kevin's Heart is the one showcase of a more hard trap beat and it's my favorite beat of the album
Lyrics and content: This is a concept album that is talking directly to his fans and the younger generation of rap, that's normally talking about drugs, bitches and money, basically guiding them out that way, so this is a very well written album that brings up a very ... read more
2014 Forest Hills Drive is a very wide collection of songs that go from jazz rap to soul samples to energetic beats, now what is really energetic is J. Cole's rapping that is always impressive but in this album he's always spitting bar after bar, sometimes you gotta be locked in an entire song to catch everything he is saying and just appreciate the insane rhyme schemes, this happens on January 28th.
Another thing i really appreciate is that he is so real the entire time, on songs ... read more
This Pusha T album offers quality and that's for sure but there isn't anything too outstanding, i liked all the trakcs except Got Em Covered and what i can say about this album is that it offers that unique taste Pusha T's music has plus Pusha's top tier rapping.
One of the best things about Pusha's music is the uniqueness and that can be felt on the features too, here Ye sounds so unique and that's my favorite feature on the album.
Overall it's a good album ... read more
After the public humiliation ritual he had because of the beef with Kendrick he decides to team up with PartyNextDoor to make a 21 song album full of trash R&B, long songs, and meet your padre, ripping off Freddie Gibbs's album twice. Drake blatantly ripping off ideas from other rappers isn't new at all, but doing that on the album after a public humilliation ritual is crazy

Drake makes yet another bad project full of mid and trash songs with zero ideas and a long ass tracklist
Reviewing each element next:
Production: Mid trap beats and nothing else except for First Person Shooter and 8am In Charlotte, i like the concept of having a Conductor Williams beat on a Drake album but it could have been way better. In my opinion the beat is mid and it still is the 2nd best of the album, just to show you how mid these beats are.

My first toughts on this are that there was many mid songs and an absurd amount of songs with wasted potential
I was expecting a lot more from this album
*FULL REVIEW SOON*
Cole delivered 4 new freestyles and the rapping here is top level
He also decided to pay homage to dj clue's Birthday Blizzard 96' Cole been paying homage to older hip hop recently, so let's see if he does that too on The Fall Off
This album has so many mid songs it turns into bad project and a difficult listen, it's actaully crazy how almost all songs manage to be absolute mid.
One of the biggest problems here was that even when a song starts good they either change the beat or introduce a new sample that drags down the song, this happened a lot of times during the listen
Usually i would talk about each element of the album but here there is literally zero content so i don't even have much to talk about, but ... read more
Another Em project im reviewing that is just a collection of a bunch of songs that have already been released 50 times
But what can i say about it? The songs are still great
This is definitely Eminem's best miscellaneous release ever, it has the right runtime and the right tracks.
This collection of songs is dope af, mfs got the best songs from 4 incredible albums and put it together
All songs expect Amityville could be considered top songs on MMLP
