K-Dot's first mixtape is not a very good showcase of his talents.
Production:The beats are for the most part annoying and they even ruin songs, the only ones that are good are the ones that sample other famous songs. BIggie is the best beat on the album. The mixing is atrocious, this shit makes the songs completely unlistenable.
Lyrics and Content:At this time Kendrick was in his gangsta shit but ig it's cool, with some corny bars but he was just 16 so i'm not mad about it

Comeback Season

Drake's 2nd mixtape Comeback Season doesn't have the best music he's ever made but at least this has some soul to it and altough it is consitently mid, it is still entretaining.
