Peter Broderick's "Float" is somewhat similar to Arnald's "Eulogy For Evolution" in phrasing. Regardless, "Float" is an accomplished record. What I discovered is a piano rich, Modern classical styled, ambient, and downtempo LP. To me, it subtly reflects Oregon's sometimes gray & drizzly climate. Imbued throughout is subdued electronic coloring along with an ethereal vocal by Amanda Lawrence and Broderick's consummate musicality. Reissued in 2013 where Nils Frahm superbly remastered this reissue under the title "Float 2013." Track highlights include "Snowflake," "A Glacier," and "Stopping On The Broadway Bridge." Peace out. - daFigz™
