Of all of the games I've played in my days, TUNIC has the most beautiful soundtrack I've ever heard, and there's not much that even compares. It's quite a long soundtrack, but each song has this distinct style that fits the game so perfectly, and it encapsulates everything I love about the vibes.
This soundtrack can also stand on its own very well. There's a few songs here in there that serve more as short ambient tracks, but each of the actual songs is an absolute gem ... read more
I debated for a while about giving this album a 100. It's strange, because I don't often enjoy things in this style to the level where I'd consider it one of my favorites of all time. But there's something about Fearofdark that has always struck me in a very unique way. It's truly amazing what he was able to accomplish with this album, and how he was able to establish a style that really stands out from the rest.

Needless to say the remaining songs blew my expectations out of the water. I'm especially fond of the last song of the album, there's a lot of power behind it.
I still don't love screamo, hence the imperfect score, but this album was incredibly well composed, I love the guitar work, overall incredibly solid
Every song in this album is a whole different adventure. It's sort of a mash of a bunch of different songs from different styles and ideas, and it's everything I love about Frums. Some of my favorite songs of all time come from this album (lost in new blankness especially hits the mark) and I've listened to the whole album countless times.
It's definitely not for everyone. A lot of the songs have very interesting and experimental stylistic decisions. I feel like Frums is ... read more
