This is my longest review to date, that took two weeks and countless hours to write. The review maxed out the character limit, so I have had to separate it into two parts.
In total, with the two parts combined, this is 105,000 characters long, and 18,000 words long.
Here is the second part: https://www.albumoftheyear.org/user/darragh-12905-2/album/12003-benji/

A sonically different track to the existing musical offerings of dmytro demura, but an incredibly harsh and unrelentless soundscape that captivated me.
The song starts slow, with a drone, which we are suddenly and forcefully introduced to the main section of the song. This took me off guard for its insanely harsh and loud nature compared to the start.
Although the song is strongly noise based, it has a melody to it, although drowned in the noiseyness, it keeps the track structured. ... read more
I have been following the works of Dmytro Demura for a while now, since his debut ep 'Dima', with his most recent release 'The light will never find me', under the name "Afterlife Slave" it is clear to see how much he has improved in music production in such a short amount of time. Adopting the style of atmospheric breakcore, dmytro creates a collection of tracks that shows great promise for future releases, whilst fulfilling the promise delivered in his various ... read more
I'm go by the belief that music doesn't have to be super interesting, inventive or unlike anything else, as long as it's good, and does what it intends to to well. A great example of this is definitely the first self titled album by third eye blind, definitely one of my favourite albums of all time, for it's tendency to put me in a good mood with every listen, and it's simple sound, that doesn't require much to understand, it isn't complex or oblique, ... read more
@dmytrodemura thanks for recommending.
From my prior experience with the music of dmytro demura, I was completely not expecting an atmospheric breakcore track, and of course it's absolutely amazing, and by far my favourite thing dmytro has done thus far. The track is incredibly ethereal and supernal, with so many interesting layers of production that work together to create this pure exuberant atmosphere, with a great chord progression throughout. The drums are also just as amazing as ... read more
@Cloyo09 thanks for recommending, sorry I didn't enjoy this that much.
Arguably the most popular experimental and noise
artist of all time, merzbow has created a reputation, an infamous individual to some, a legend of his craft to others. To me, I sort of get his music. I understand how insane, cocophenous and unlike anything else his music is, but to me it's just boring. I usually zone out to noise, and it fades away into he background to where I am lost in thought for the next 40 ... read more
