This absolute nihilistic serve. Everyone is unnecessarily mad about the sound of this era. She's no Taylor Swift so obviously she won't try to recreate her most succesful commercialy album brat for some more relevance.

Honestly, this feels like a total psyop to me and lowkey Jane Remover as a whole. I love all the genres this record is supposed to represent, but I’m genuinely shocked by how much I don't enjoy it. It’s not the worst thing I’ve ever heard, not even in those respective genres, but the scores and reviews here are very suspicious. In the long-term the overhype is doing her no favors in my opinion, cause I know there is real potential to her name. The production is nowhere ... read more

Trying to find the one album I listened was a nightmare, what the hell is going on with his discog? Was thinking this has become like AI slop, but apparently he's been going crazy every year since the early 80s. Anyways.

It dives into everything from haunting drone ambient through industrial electronic to crushing doomgaze, staying perfectly cohesive without ever feeling bland. The stories this album holds, they woke up feelings in me I wasn't brave enough to revisit since, so beware of listening to the record in full. It’s the kind of experience you can only handle on certain occasions, or just by ... read more

This album was my introduction to the group and it did not dissapoint me like their other records later would.. It’s more a respectable refinement of indie rock, since it doesn't really offer anything groundbreaking to the genre. It’s a beautiful, sincere record that occasionally gets lost in its own scale. It kept me company during a pretty good time in my life and listening to it is always a pleasant experience.
