The Neighbourhood do it better then Tame Impala. It feels indeed like you‘re floating deep through the ocean. Ultrasound is a cool combination between chilly house vibes and indie aesthetic.
razorblade romance is kitsch at its finest - an everpink caricature that immortalized the bleeding emotions of a heartbroken millenium. bittersweet cherry-flavored drama, sharp sarcasm, and the raw energy of the youth intertwine effortlessly, while the fusion of goth, progressive rock, and warm pop melodies sounding absolutely unique to this day.
It could be the the rose-tinted glasses, but this album is for sure in my personal top five (along with love metal), and its spirit still feels as ... read more
i heard better psytrance music on youtube. the little highlights are not good enough to make deadbeat alive.

I needed to change my first review (i knew it would happen)
1. City Walls | 100 (everything i like is in it)
2. RAWFEAR | 100 (melancholic / happy & catchy)
3. Center Mass | 90 (well dun)
4. The Contract | 90 (better with every listen)
5. Tally | 85 (great refrain, but had more potencial)
6. Garbage | 85 (it sounds like oasis)
7. Intentions | 80 (well done ending, but truce is better)
8. One Way | 80 (cool, but very safe)
9. Drum Show | 80 (too many tempo changes :x)
10. Robot Voices | 75 ... read more
godspeed and i need more than this are top tier and the other songs are solid, but they need to push it further.
im very sorry, but i dont get the hype. are they getting so big because of their music or because of their appearance? i don't like his crying voice and i don't like the melodies. it may explain the meaning behind sleep tokens name. its so boring.
i think they have the potencial to be a big name in the game. galore was a special listening and visual experience. i also like the artstyle in their mv’s and photoshootings.
- pulling teeth: 75
- fuse: 95
- learn to forget: 75
- being one: 80
- its supposed to hurt: 95
- better off: 90
= 85
will they go on with this messy and glitchy productionthing or will they exploring some other sides of sounding in the future? i don‘t know, but im okay with this album and - that‘s just my opinion - it could be greater with jordan in it (is rip dedicated to him?). all high ranked songs was roll out over the past few years and the rest - besides youtopia - is just okay and standing in their shadows.
edit: they geow on me
top 5: youtopia, darkside, amen, strangers, bullet
what an great deathcore ep! „… and i return to nothingness“ was on repeat three years ago, while „to the hellfire“ had an outstanding ending.
dont understand the hype. not liking his singing/screaming voice (sounds like an angry kid shouting at his mum, because he can’t play call of duty). the songs are so boring and without any character. heard way way better bands 10 years ago on little hardcore shows.
don’t expect trench 2.0
my opinion after a week:
overcompensate: im vibing this song since it’s release and never get bored of it. the perfect intro for this album, reaching the same level as heavydirtysoul and jumpsuit. 95/100
next semester: not expected this kind of style, but I’m liking this rockish direction on clancy. next semester sounds very nostalgic to me, but the ending could be longer. 90/100
backslide: backslide is a safe song with good ideas and a nice build up ... read more
i like this indie version more, than jennas version (get around 80 points). its a sweet song and you will see after a few listenings, it will stuck in your head. biggest grower from clancy.
never beeen an billie eilish fan before, but this album is solid!
top: chihiro, wildflower, bittersuite
meh: the dinner, birds of a feather
great song, great production and a super dynamic duo! jordan fishs influences are very present. cant wait for a full lenght album.
i like this song, but i miss longer instrumentations for the outro. extra points for the flute.
i like the easyness and the retro sound of this lp. its a cool concept too. the writing isnt special, but entertaining. every song got his own personality and drive you back in the 70s and 80s. if they put out the songs 40 years ago, they would be classics today. sometimes you need just an easy vibe.
top 5: shy away, choker, never take it, mulberry street, bounce man
i miss a little switch in the chorus/verse. the end could be a little longer.
