Genuinely one of the best rock albums I've heard, period.
Tackling themes of addiction, police brutality, injustice in the court system and other topics of heavy importance, Hail the sun manages to make a stance against the injustices in the world, while making every song bang. The writing on this album is amazing and perfectly leverages the aggressive tones of metal and post-hardcore to express its themes.
The album flip flops between lighter tones with beautiful finger picking and lush ... read more
This is such a comfort album for me. The whole thing sounds like chilling at home on a rainy day. there's this weird blanket of nostalgia over this album and that's what makes it work for me
Obviously this album is love letter to 90's alt rock. Smashing pumpkins influence and all dat, but there's so much more to it than just that. Every song on here is filled with so much sincerity and you can really hear it in the vocal performances. Songs like Guesthouse genuinely have me ... read more
Say what you want, but this is Yeule's most consistent and easy to listen to project, yet. I know some might see that as a flaw and weakness of this album, but I think otherwise.

Its not as experimental as softscars or Serotonin 2 but still, what's ... read more
This is the first project I've listened to by Ms Pathmia. The cover is what really stood out to me tonally. But cover aside, I really like the soundscapes on display with this EP, as well as the guitar playing. Its a short consistent listen with lots of variation between songs.
The first song starts with this ambient section, that slowly evolves into a guitar centric phase with very ... read more
This is Quannnic at his best
I feel like he really found his bag with this one. As much as I loved the slower ballad style tracks of stepdream, I feel they didn't quite capture the atmosphere and immersion Quan was hoping for. On Warbrained, he somehow goes all in and creates tracks that seamlessly blend noise, guitars and ambience together to create a shoegaze masterpiece that makes me feel like im floating through a wasteland at the end of the world.
That being said, the only track I ... read more
