Danger Mouse and Black Thought are a musical match made in heaven. Oh, speaking of heaven, Aquamarine sure sent me to heaven. This album is a favorite of one of my close friends, and as good friends do, I decided to give it a listen!
Do not regret that desicion. I was met with some magnificient production paired with really good rapping. Keep in mind that this is my first impression for both artists, and I must say it is a VERY good first impression. Six of these songs are now in my rotation, while Aquamarine is on repeat and genuinly my top 20 hip-hop songs. A great edition to this decades' hip hop, and I can see it shaping up into a classic.
