Vince is truly on his A game the whole way through. Usually a lot of Vince Staples projects really want to say something with meaning, which is really well appreciated by me. However with so many different topics; the previous albums become unfocused and lose a lot of momentum. Cry Baby is his magnum opus at this point in time in regards to his focus.

I’ve changed my mind on this album a lot because I used to not really understand Gorillaz. However the more you listen to this album and start to understand the atmosphere and the song writing it creates you start to have a shift in your mind. It’s like hard to describe but simply it’s super funky and obviously super influential. Gorillaz my bad for not getting it at first.

Madvillainy is a 101 album. Its an album that never misses in its 22 tracks, every single song day by day becomes my favorite song on the album. This album is truly terrible, there are almost no redeeming qualities to this bloated mess. Its actually incredible how bad this album is and how Carti just does not know when to stop putting songs on an album. The production on this album is super boring and repetitive, the features from Kendrick, Travis, and The Weeknd cannot help lift the iceberg of weight that is Playboi Carti. I WILL NOT LOSE

I didn’t get death grips at first but once you do you realize that you’ve never heard something like this before done to this quality. The thought alone of what they do on this album is enough to blow your mind with how creative and boundary pushing it is.

J Dilla is one of the best producers that has graced music. He simply is a genius when it comes to music and this album is proof of every single claim to his genius. I think I have a major bias for this album so take what I say with a grain of salt.

I don’t even know how to describe just how beautiful this album is. I also think this album really makes me feel like music does not have to be relatable to enjoy. The themes of religion throughout this album are beautifully interwoven and even though I am not religious I can still feel the emotion from those themes.

I think this albums philosophy from the beginning really brings it home for me especially when you consider other female artists and what they a majority of the time default too. This album is a statement and one that I hope does not get overlooked by the general audience.
