What I’d say to be AC/DC’s heaviest album. We all know Thunderstruck, but I’d say the best song is the title track. Overall it’s pretty good.
This certainly feels like it could’ve been their debut album, with that unrefined sound and general… grunge? Set The World Afire is the only redeemable song, with mostly forgettable others. And I wish I could forget their cover of Anarchy In The UK.
Rage Against The Machine puts their messaging front and center. And whether you agree with their messaging or not, you have to agree that it’s quality music. Probably RATM’s most refined album, while still keeping that raw sound.
