Good stuff, a very calm and cool album that is great background music with some pieces that stand out and catch your attention.
This is a single from her eponymous album. This song runs into the classic situation of an album being named after a song on it that ends up to be neither one of the most prominent nor the best (here, Natalie is accidentally taking a lot of inspiration from Laufey's Bewitched, and we know she is a Laufey fan!). It's an intersting sound but defintely not one of her best.
Not my favorite of her songs, but absolutely the most beautiful of her songs. Expressing a light lovely theme through lyrics.
Fantastic album. I'd like to say that "say you're fine," is my favorite Natalie Jinju song because it seems it's an unappreciated masterpiece on this album.
Pretty decent, I do like how it is a different lyrical topic than msot Natalie Jinju songs.
Pretty good, though the song Nobody Cares is one of my lesser favorite Natalie Jinju songs.
Like many of her songs, it has truly wonderful instrumental and a unique motif that animates the song. Bravo, I really love this one.
A pretty darn good song, and one of her best. I really like the interplay between the instrumentals and vocals, it weaves a very jazzy and yet somehow almost baroque tapestry of sounds.
One other thing, I feel like the image for the single doesn't really fit the song, it bothers me a tiny bit, LOL.
A standout single from Be More, I still love to play it and let the memories come back to me.
A lovely album with a good number of standouts that you'll remember for a long time. Bravo!
I actually really enjoyed this one. Very sweet and some of the songs stuck in my head for quite a while. I'll come back to write a bigger review after a third listen.
The last song is the only reason I remembered having even LISTENED to this album. Seriously, I did not realize I had listened to it before until I heard that part. Saint Motel is a talented group without a doubt, but this album just wasn't for me.
Hard to rate this one, unfortunately the title song is the main attraction here.
A wonderful ode to youth packed with an extra punch thanks to 3 standout songs - Kids, Electric Feel, and Time to Pretend. These songs permeated my childhood at summer camps, school, and social gatherings. I'll always love this music. The only reason I don't rate this higher is that I feel it's an album where I am mostly waiting for those 3 great songs.
Personally one of my top 2 Taylor Swift songs, an absolute banger that has my up and dancing every time.
Bizzarely, this is my least favorite of his backrooms inspired albums.
An even better version of the concept first created in the Backrooms album, I really love the visual nature of the music. There has never been music that has so painted a mental picture for me as these compelling songs.
