i've been putting off listening to this album for a bit but oh my god

the instruments, the harmonies... this is so so good. i understand why paul mccartney was so mad.

the instrumentation on this is sooo gorgeous. i love the brass and the gentle bells and chimes- it reminds me of carousel music, and not in a bad way.

i especially love the contrast in tone in this album- some songs are optimistic portraits of domestic love and bliss, others address the temporary nature of love and ... read more
