Bury Me At Makeout Creek
You know hearing someone raging and screaming their thoughts and emotions out, will always, twistedly, be relieving to listen to.

(Topics: Death, Suicide and Mental health problems, basically any heavy topics that you can think.)
Oof, I am scared of how people will receive this. I am not going to lie.

As much diacritic there is to my past with this record fullest’s experiences and her foggy amber stones that she had to deal with in the past, the emotional ... read more

I have heard less irritating AJR choruses.

Steve Lacy - Gemini Rights

I never knew that vocals could have any competition with the instrumentation till this day. It was so angelical that even my addition to it wasn’t a total disgrace! (Ed sheeran definitely poisoned my coffee as I thought "Bad Habit" was called "Bad Habits")

You know, there’s heaps of colorful days where I grab my friends and drive with them with no ceiling in the skyline, just a bunch of colorful hands reaching to the highest bid with seemingly no reward to the ... read more

Clairo - Sling

The lyrical magnum opus of Clairo Cottrill. And i think she can surpass it!

Clairo Cottrill's “Sling” isn’t a catastrophic reflection of her emotions through roars of instruments and raw vocals that break the sound atmosphere, cracking any sound barrier in a way, instead it’s a whispery delicate growth thrown at an organized room into her own shattered reflection, with an airy bittersweet feeling lightly waving at silky veil curtains. “Sling” shows ... read more

This is what Insomnia feels like!

First Review where I actually put some work into the review instead of being a 4 minute review sketch, I also have another review on the works that I will post later, I don’t know when tho.

This is the Second album of the reformed Mississippi resident and Bedroom Pop artist, Yot Club. I’ve listened to the songs of this album many times as individual songs but never as an album, and this was an interesting first listen, because as solos projects, ... read more

Let's worship the racist bum that died by the cause that he supported instead of paying attention to the school shootings that happened moments after! I would mourn but empathy is just a made up word by the woke virus amoeba.
Rip Charlie, you didn't deserve to die but i can't help but question at the last moments, do you still believe that the guy that shot you deserved more protection than you or are you also a sacrifice for The 2nd Amendment.

AJR - What No One's Thinking
60

No yodelling? I am about to go red.

Guys it’s pretty good! The instrumentation isn’t just a bunch of instrument bundled up in kindergarten tape but a well structured and layered folky soundscape. But unfortunately it’s still is a AJR project so it’s bound to have some weird high pitched secondary effects in “The Big Goodbye” and “Betty” but atleast it’s not as prominent as other projects, so thumbs up. There are still lyrical moments ... read more

Should’ve released the other demo, it was way better πŸ₯ΉπŸ₯Ή

As a fan of their first two Amazing albums this was a pleasant surprise. I was going to hate on this because the chorus from the sneak peeks was annoying as hell without the rest of the song, judged too fast, you really can’t blame it tho after the obvious let down of I Love You So F***kin Much.
The chorus is still a bit repetitive and there still some vapour wave elements from dreamland, but it’s not to the ... read more

I have been following them since 2021 and this song isn’t as different as people think when it comes to their discography, it’s just less overproduced which I think it is the better choice but this song, production wise, reminds of My Play, which is one of the better songs, with less random sounds and less multiple layers of vocals but it doesn’t have that emotional hook that “My play” has. Enjoyable listen, but it isn’t memorable or one of those great ... read more

"@TheNevermeant Thanks! Also I wanted to know your opinion regarding some people saying the lack of must-hears or just albums getting kicked out of the 80 bracket is a sign of regression on this site but also if this is something new that is only happening now in 2026. I know it's a little awkward asking this here instead of the shoutbox but this is convenient for me"

"I had to stop my practice exams to read this and mannnnnnnnn this is such beautiful writting. But it's a shame that there will be people that will read this and still think there are sides to this genocide. Keep up with the amazing work, I'm always looking forward for it"

"Even if it feels impossible to review all of them with the honestly mediocre quality and gramatical errors. I still love to do it, as it feels liberating to express opinions that I would not usually even open my mouth in the place I am from. Love your stuff as always, but I don't think I need to announce that when at this point I feel intimidated by your writting style ❀️"

"While I am not going to delve in the first part of the discussion as it's not in my place to admonish the attitudes of certain people with my lack of experience and only bordering the outskirms of the community. I can feel your frustration as I have painfully endured similar frustrations when it comes to people not taking work seriously. A good example is having shitty roomates. Which I am also not delving into, as I want to use those feelings for my reviews. When I entered this community, the first thing I wanted to do was making in-depth reviews, as while it takes a long, the knitting on each words feel so satisfying when I am done with it. That's why I set a list of all the albums I am going to review in the first place."

I will catch with that Album Also I wanted to listen to Godspeed You Black Emperor!, but they removed their songs on spotify, do you know any platform where I can listen to their songs freely? I am on a tight budget and can't make the sacrifice on switching platforms even if I wanted to"

"@TheNevermeant My bad, maybe i didn't explain myself as clearly as I thought. It's "Takk" By Sigur Rós and they are a icelandic band the same nationality as Laufey. And I have been wanting more Folk icelandic music since Yaelokre. While I don't think their album is Folk genre wise, their music is inspired by their own culture for the most part which is safe to say . I have been wanting more of that type of artists lol. But my vibes could be completely wrong, and that album isn't inspired by their culture which is fine, I still had a great time with it"

"@Disconnected (Continuation) will ever be. They have similar problems with their sound where they just add a bunch of stuff in their production and see what sticks. I think both of these artists have untapped potential, and AJR is slowly getting better with their sound. Hopefully, Jane Remover is faster with her improvement, I wouldn't want to wait almost another decade for that to happen By the way, I don't know if you accept reccomendations but I think you would enjoy "Music Has The Right To Children" by Boards of Canada, check it out if you have time"

"@TheNevermeant "Takk" is really pretty and fills the void that laufey left with her music as a icelandic singer even tho, for her, it was never the point and is already pushing pop to a new direction! I don't know much about the works behind the scene on "Takk" yet but I imagine it's a folk inspired to their birth place and gives me tons of world-building ideas for a review. This album reminds me of a civilization with it's own culture living next to two streams of creeks on open sunlight. And with much gratitude, I would only kneel to them for inspiring one of my favorite artists to come out of Iceland, Yaelokre. They walked so Yaelokre could run I forced myself to listen to AJR. And I think, even tho Jane is miles better than that trio"

"@TheNevermeant Honestly I didn’t hate her album ”Revegenseekerz” on the first listen, I found myself headbanging while taking out my dogs for a walk, the problem is that after that initial listen, I haven’t tapped in again and only listen to her on my Miscellaneous clustered liked songs. And they, for the most part, felt way too chaotic and mudded by themselves so I am skeptical that I will like the album again But I will dive more on that album god knows when, with that cursed wheel only choosing depressing albums seems like never."

On 𝒩𝑒𝓋𝑒𝓇𝓂𝑒𝒢𝓃𝓉's review of Taylor Swift - The Life of a Showgirl
"And it’s sad because Taylor has already shown us a side where she actually cares and puts in the effort on projects where she has an artistic view, while these albums are literally the trilogy of a cemetery of an Artist, in my opinion"
On 𝒩𝑒𝓋𝑒𝓇𝓂𝑒𝒢𝓃𝓉's review of Taylor Swift - The Life of a Showgirl
"You know what’s sad about Taylor, is that her fandom is so nosy and toxic in her life that Taylor began to feed onto those behaviours to gain more attraction, that’s why “TTPD” and now this album have random diss tracks and while in “Midnights” it has songs where her fans immediately began trying to crack which song is about what exes"

"@victini Unfortunately yea, but it's still insane that people have these type of kinks that puts furries in a bad rep and then just excuse it with being "Hypersexual" and "Sexual Liberty". Some kinks should just stay closed to the public eye, I got this album recommended by spotify so I can say that."
On Ves's review of Pent Up Pup - Pent Up Pup
"Clears throat "You fold and twist the towel of my pee Into a bottle, you say that you'll have it with your tea" I get your point, but this isn't sexual artistic liberty, its deranged shit, that puts the furry community in the bottle neck that they are right now, pressured by both sides of their own fucked up part of the community and the outside community, where one gives a reason for the other one to hate, respectively . At points it even becomes zoophilic, that's not being sexually proud, that's a crime! Being cringe is amazing and people hate on it because of social conformity but there is a clear drawn line between being cringe and being illegal."
On randomPfp's review of wifiskeleton - suburban daredevil
"Okay so I am not going to talk about the album itself. But depression isn’t a one note type of thing where everyone experiences the same thing. Depression is a diagnosis not your average low mood tempo. Moron."
