while teminite was uncredited on this track as one of the artist on the track (check the credits), this track suceeds BUSTED in all shape and manner, delivering a electrical precision that was definitely needed where BUSTED fell flat.
compared to More Then Alot & No More Idols, this album is more trying to hit a more mainstream audience which is not bad but at the same time alot of times i'm like "when is the good stuff", alot of disappointment from me but as from my rating shows there are some tracks i enjoyed but most are just not it for me.
a blend of DnB and a few not so DnB tracks to break things up, Chase & Status First LP is a masterclass on why i love there music so much, from the DnB Bangers like Smash TV, Music Club (even with it being cheeky to all hell), Can't Get Enough, Hurt You & Pieces, to the more Dubstep Cuts like Eastern Jam, Take You There & Saxon (with Saxon being the weakest and possibly the most not needed cut added since it was part of the New Edition in 2010), every track on the 13 track lp ... read more
ok this is fucked, now i want a VR and Toki collab this is too awesome to not have this as a favourite from the 2.
honestly i'm fine with the more edgier stuff for VOCALOiD even if no big Vocaloid Producers would ever make miku cuss, this version really is suppose to be what if Miku matches the same energy as bbno$ on his own song (which tommy. did exactly just that aswell he has made miku cuss before in his own solo stuff so it really fits what tommy. does), it works really well and i would say i definitely prefer this version over the original not saying the original isn't bad.
so far the only bbno$ song that really ticked me off due to the fact bbno$ is glorifying a drug i used to have that made me feel like shit, beat is fun though.
yeah i love this kind of shit, the lyrics if you pay attention is pretty much ego boosting himself but also the flow is pretty on point especially on a speed house beat (i mean come on i enjoy good bass / speed house), again idc if he made it for tiktok, my thing is overall enjoyment and hey sometimes the ones that you can just vibe to (potentially also shut your brain off if you don't like the lyrics) are fun, remember guys reviews are based on a person's opinon so while numbers can ... read more
definitely a mix of quality from people in the AOTY Community.
fav: Please don’t save me Sam Dave, i’m too deep in the hole by Peyton Hekeziah
worst: my adhd brain (or what i like to call giving people tinnitus) by acerola
Update: before someone decide to shit on me because of a mid rating, bear in mind, you are only doing this to yourself <artist that was pissed at other's giving them low ratings>, ratings are based on people's own opinons, everyone has there own ... read more
definitely not my favourite tokyo machine song plus i was kinda suspecting more on the lines of GHOSTY too but nope kinda left felt disappointed and i know all 3 artists can make something heavy but oh well i guess you can't win them all.
ok i might need to update my Rust review as i forgot how good this album was with only a few that i'm like not for me also Spooky Mix for Long Time Friends is better then the original i literally remembered repeating that over and over again.
oh boy where do i start with this album, firstly i love the whole grittiness with this album alot it really capture the fact that Rust is all about Rebellion against a corrupt system, sure did i want more for this album, hell yeah especially since some songs like Boulder could really shine with more length, as a fan of TLT's more heavier side (like come on I Walk Ahead of You is my favourite out of this album) this is everything i wanted and then some.

if anyone was to bring back the classic sound (before Brostep obviously) with a more modern sound, i didn't suspect STYKS to do it and yet he delivered with a 3 track heater (4 if you count the bonus track) that bring you back to the underground london scene where it all started for Dubstep.
probably one of my favourite midtempo tracks, hayve, Roy Knox & Bad Computer is a force to be reckon with when it comes to what they are able to achieve together, while it is quite simple for Midtempo, it delivers hard still. (sure THIRST is there Phonk (the Drift kind not the OG Stuff) Group but my god they show a quality that not many phonk artists can do)
not my cup of tea unfourtanely plus the vocal mixing needs improving as it's kinda unintellegable, however this is a good track nevertheless.
really solid attempt at what i can say is going back to the roots of when dnb was first a thing mixed with the modern paragonx9-eque style (with a touch of glitchy breakcore to make it much more entertaining to listen to) of melodic dnb, there is a few mixing choice that i'm not too happy with and i feel the breakcore section could be worked on to fit alot better with the track but for your first time making dnb, i'm really impressed.
the trench duo of infekt & samplifire is a force to be reckon with, this track (along with true trench times and cavernsl shows why these 2 are the best in the game for trench / riddim
