Great start from track 1-8.. then Cup Fella Beetlejuice happened. And it all went downhill from there.
Honestly, I do kind of like the attempt at a vaporwave song as it sounds rather easy to listen to and especially something you listen to in the late night which at the time, I am writing it at that time. It flows with that carelessness that defines the song like a general soappao song since there is no breathers across the song (which he always does), although I do think that drags it down since I can't really get myself to enjoy the song in one take, it does kind of force me to listen to ... read more
A Kid Cudi Album in the big 2025!? Yeah, and it's pretty decent.
It has so much styles on it and the moods you can get from this album varies.
Of course Neverland DEFINITELY brung it down but It wasn't by a lot. It was a really corny song although you can't judge a whole album from one corny song which I know some people have definitely done.
Best song IMO: Submarine
Worst song IMO: Neverland
Although short, I believe it encapsulates Soap's best work yet. The storytelling is heavy around this album and I believe he does it great justice for most of the songs except for monsanto_park because it just doesn't feel me the right way. Other than that, the mixtape is heavily good because it keeps pulling from everywhere with the samples and production. Soap raps pretty alright on this mixtape, proving he doesn't need other people in his projects and that he can do a solo ... read more
Really good album, I think its his best by far. I have so much personal preference for this album and its underlining story is just something I can really get behind. Childish Gambino's stories while he was at Camp tells an under arching story about a girl he once liked and the memories he is reminiscing with her. Only to then never meet her again and found out the truth later on. Although the lyrics may be heavily corny now, I can't judge it for that. My favourite tracks are Outside, ... read more
Wasn't even a bad listen despite being in an entirely different language, of course there was no page for it but... it was a good vibe overall. It's got its ups and downs but it is generally considered to be a good time for me. The different musical instruments just add a layer of effect to the songs with the atmosphere, creating a diverse array of songs in the LP which helps with the vocalist's singing with their tone of voice. Accompanying each other very well.
Great album, loved the listen. Most of these songs I can see myself returning to over and over to put on every once and a while (and not regretfully... I do exactly that). It's catchy and has that sort of feeling that I wanted in an album. Although John Michel delivered greatly on this album, it does sort of get repetitive but Anthony James makes up for that with the production behind these songs as it allows John Michel's rapping to evaluate to a way better level.
This defined Kanye's place in the music industry, knowing that he was a producer prior; he would implement himself as a true rapper.
Hey. It was really good, some songs just aren't the best to the point I remember it. Some bangers in this though.
Wasn't that bad of a listen, alot of the songs are hella bops. Maybe just 1 or 2 songs weren't it to make it a perfect album but noneoftheless.. you can edge to this album.
Honestly, it was a nice listening to. Even though it isn't rememberable, I had a really nice time through the album.
An album that really shows the world why kendrick lamar is the best rapper, 100/100.
