THIS is what I’ve been missing from Danny Brown since the Old & Atrocity Exhibition days. Abrasive, energetic, and overall charismatic are words I would use to describe this album and Danny Brown as a rapper. I haven’t really been fond of his last couple of solo albums but this one makes me feel like we’re so fucking back. The production choices here fit Danny’s zaniness so well and he keeps his lyricism at such a high and entertaining level.
Favorite Songs: Book of Daniel, Starburst, Copycats, 1999, Lift You Up, What You See, Baby
